Hello, My machine DELL Latitude D610 has a display problem when I turn the screen remains black with the message written on ******* MANUFACTURING MODE: LEVEL [67] ******** Press Fn-X to return the system to normal running mode. I tried to press Fn-X but nothing ever works please. help me
Ok everybody.... this is how you do it. Take the battery out for a minute. & where you saw him touch the black plastic where the battery was... pull that back with a small screwdriver or paperclip... & you will see a black chip with 4 pins. While the laptop is off. touch the middle pins to short it out for 5 seconds . Then turn back on. Screen will boot in manufacturing mode, You can either press FN+x or let it reboot itself. Then start windows normally

I have a Dell Latitude E6400#14HSRK1-2A7B I have removed and replaced the cmos battery to no avail So I know the PW is stored on the eprom chip. I also have an external keyboard can you please help?
I have a Dell Studio 1535 with Asset Tag #F4JXHH1-595B, Is protected by a password authentication system. Removed battery for a few hours, but it is still requiring a password. If I can get the password it would be greatly appreciated. Please help!!! Thank you in advance.
