I recently ordered an Inspiron 14 Plus from Dell. Your review is inspiring confidence in my decision. FWIW, I would argue this is the best review of this model on RU-vid.
Thank you so much for review this Dell Inspiron 14 plus 7420. I almost have a clearer picture of how the latest Dell Inspiron 14 Plus (7430) might be like. But, if you could please review the 7430, as it has much better specs than the 7420, and I was eager if it have any design changes. Since, this is the laptop which interests me the most out of all the laptops out there which are in the mid-upper level 14" screen size field range.
Great video!! I want to buy a laptop and am torn between Dell Inspiron 14 Plus and Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1. I mostly will use it for programming and for some light 3d modeling. Which one would you suggest? Thanks!
@@SoulOfTech I took the plunge on a 2023 Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Pro 14" with 120 Hz IPS screen and RTX 3050 instead (for £790). Should be arriving with me in a couple of days. I'm expecting the 2023 Inspiron plus not to launch until Jul/Aug (when 2022 model launched), and I also expect a price tag of ~£1200. I don't expect the build quality of the Lenovo will match up to the Inspiron, but the 90 Hz (likely glossy) screen was still somewhat of a compromise.
I bought this laptop with the rtx 3050 configuration but it doesn't have the intel Evo sticker on it, are all configurations of this model on the Intel Evo platform or only certain ones?
I recently ordered a Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 14 inch FHD plus and when it arrived the audio crackled a bit. This bothered me because i work with audio and i went back in and they exchanged it and brought me a new one. The new one has the exact same popping noise. I didnt get a protection plan. 1.) i dont have the money 2.) it was either gonna work or i was gonna return it. What do u think i should do? Should i just buy an HP Envy x360 with an OLED display instead or should i go to the trouble of trying to get them to exchange it again? I could always go go for an improved display with an hp pavilion x360. If i get it exchanged im a little freaked that ill get the same popping noise. Idk this is becoming to much trouble and i really dont know much about computers
Thank you for putting together this review. I appreciate it and I know that you had to put a lot of work into it. Could you disclose the benefit to you from Dell for putting out this video?
If you get a good one, it is great for students majoring in finance/economics/accounting. I have owned 2. One was amazing and another was a lemon. Just make sure to get the 2-year insurance warranty for this laptop.
@@charlie3729 Some advance excel features are not available on Macs. Finance & Economic majors have to use those advance features for analysis, especially for econometrics class. Then when they enter the professional world in their majors, most use 3rd party tools that are more compatible with PCs. That gap is closing, but for the most part Finance and Economic professionals are still heavily PC users.
I have this same question. I'm torn in which one to get. I really like both. I like the look of the XPS 13 more but I want the one that's the best and going to last the longest.
@@SoulOfTech ddr5 are dualchan in single slot. You should be able to upgrade a single Stick of 32gb and the laptop Will recognize 16gb as quad Chan and 24 as dual.
Please advise me. Is this PC suitable for video editing work? Spec(Thinkpad i5 E15 G2-1135G7, 512gb, 16gb memory, CPU Iris Xe) Or Dell with same spec (Please advise me. Is this PC suitable for video editing work? Or Dell of the same Spec (intel i5 G2-1135G7, 512gb, 16gb memory, Iris Xe) ?
I'm not sure what I did to make you this upset but I'm sorry to hear you feel that way. Despite this I don't ignore people, unfortunately I just cannot get back to everyone due to sheer volume of questions I get across the channel on Instagram.
Dayme! osobwy43>>> I was about to draft a reply just to your point (not to you, just about what you noticed)_ I was not the only one noticed the one-way street and at the same time the channel is asking to like and sub...mmmm...Fair enough, he cannot get back to everyone, but few answers to their plea when the Tech stuff is not their forte can go very far_ Plus, I don't think you sounded upset, it was more an observation, just as I noticed... But, it is his (their) channel, and he can do whatever he wants to... (It's your party..) Peace! M_^()^
thanks very much for your review - short with all the information one needs. helped me decide and I ordered the Dell 14 plus. Dropped you a like but wont sub because I only look for a new system every couple of years. Any way I can give you a small tip for your work?
@@RK-lq2ud Well, you’re asking questions on a North American channel so we have no clue how things are in India. You also didn’t mention what currency you were considering. In America, MacBooks are becoming good deals. I wouldn’t call anything piss poor without trying it, especially since it seems you’re making that comment without having the funds to make an educated observation. 8 GB on MacOS goes a long way.
