Dell Latitude D610: A mildly interesting old laptop.

This is a bit different to my usual content. I have one or two more computers I want to do this sort of video with. If this is received well enough I might do even more than that.
An iPad on a jank Lego tripod mount works surprisingly well as a camera. I used my phone in the same mount to record the voiceover.
The iPad did start complaining that it was out of space some ways through, which was decidedly not ideal. If it hadn't I'd probably have a little bit more usable footage. As-is I had almost an hour.

Saw some of these on eBay a while back, and I'm still considering getting one (mainly because I'm quite obsessed with older laptops like these). Seeing the games you tested on it, I'd assume it would run 90's games pretty well?

My Dell looks pretty much the same but the Dell CD/DVD drive has too be connected to a two prong usb connection. I've found the power pack & the independent CD/DVD drive but not the actual computer itself. Anyone know what my version of this is called?

@@Ocawesome101 I learned that the higher end Pentiums of this era come with "Shared executable bit" a requirement for windows 10. So I bought a Pentium m 780, (Bad move, the 770 was like 8$) Haha and paired that with ddr2 2gb 533mhz. Turns out I needed an actual GPU if I wanted to get hardware acceleration, and lucked out on a 30 dollar board. (ATI radeon x300) The gpu driver compatibility was tricky, but I finally figured it out. The hard disk was dumb luck, a 7 dollar Seagate IDE with 100gb at 7200 (LOUD)

I've never seen the Machine as it's windows XP origin, and kinda want to try it with the original drive.

@@terrymorgan2854 neat. i assume the M 760 doesn't have that bit as the last time i tried loading w10 it blue screened. i haven't taken a terribly good look at the hard disk but it works well enough. ETA: not sure if it's the original.

@@Ocawesome101 I can't get the old man to negotiate on version 20h2 or higher, it would constantly fail with a bsod "Memory Management" during install. I have it running 17.09, but the newer versions will download occasionally and say they failed to install. haha I took a look for gags, and you're core is basically identical to mine, just a bit slower. :) It still has 2mb of cache, and does have Shared executable bit.
