have one of these Dell Latitude D610 road warriors and it has 1.49 total RAM so I must have a 512 MB stick of RAM at DIMM A on top as I have a1GB RAM stick from Samsung in the DIMM B on the bottom. I want to upgrade the total RAM to the 2 GB max thus replacing the DIMM A with another 1 GB RAM stick. For best performance, it is always best to use two identical RAM sticks in both RAM slots for example in this case 2 x 1GB @ 533MHz each. I would even prefer the same company make. Were the A-TECH cards the originals for you or what you replaced them with?
