INSTALLATION & REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:
- STEP-1: Avoid static discharge by grounding yourself using a wrist grounding strap or by touching a bare metal surface like a connector on the back of the laptop and remove all of the power including the battery and power adapter.
- STEP-2: Slide the battery latches towards the outside of the laptop until they click.

there are 5 screws for the keyboard not 4, you seem to be missing one of your screws

Why for the love of god would they decide to put the CMOS battery (a part that needs to be replaced every few years) in an area that requires you to disassemble the entire freaking laptop?!? I hope the person that designed it this way steps in a steamy hot pile of dog crap everyday for the rest of their life.

Good vid, but that battery placement is not really great. BTW - had several of them broke due to battery expansion. Retiring them as these are nearing five years old.

Hi , Parts-People.Com, Inc Latitude 14 5000 Series (E5450) would you please tell me why each time the I connect the adapter connector to my laptop Dell adapter model LA65NS2-01 it sound to shot down the light ? I have change two adapter so far plus the one come with the laptop, I had an unexpected black out then the computer and the adapter shutdown it self then I bought another one and before the I tried to plug in checked if the adapter light was on, it dose then as soon I connect the connector to the laptop.... well the adapter sound to black out and the light is gone, any suggestion please
