LOL, I'm so embarrassed🤭...I spent so much time writing that last comment BEFORE I did a binge-watch of your channel. I see you have a whole section on my unit!! I'm in the middle of watching now and realized I needed to append that comment and say "thank you" again...now, back to my lessons☺
Hi and thanks for making these videos. It's hard to find any sort of help about how to deal with these sort of machines. I plan of getting a similar one and make it my main PC as I lack the money to build one from new parts. Therefore I have a few questions and I hope you might find the time to answer them. 1. Is the board micro-ATX format? Will it fit in a normal micro ATX case? 2. Can the PCI-Express slot power a card like the 1050 or 1050Ti if I change the PSU to an aftermarket one? 3. Can I run a SSD and a HDD instead of the HDD and DVD unit? Thanks!
Hi and sorry to bother you again. I got the 3020 and moved it to a new case. However it keeps asking for certain cables to be plugged: Alert! Previous fan failure. Alert! Rear fan failure. Alert! Power Button Cable Failure. Alert! Front I/O Cable failure. To continue press F1 key To change setup option press F2 key To run onboard diagnostics press F5 key Do you have any suggestions on how to get rid of them (if possible at all)?
Hello & Happy holidays @Mxkdi🎄!!! New subbie here🥰...FANTASTIC tutorial video! I've had this machine for quite some time and just recently started gaming with it. Can you suggest graphics cards and/or other stuff that will fit and work with this unit? I purchased a new game only to find that my specs are way under to play it. Currently I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 which plays some games but I want to be able to get better/greater results🤪! I heard that GeForce 1030 will fit but I want to know from YOU, cause you seem to know what's what! Thanks in advance for taking time out to give any help/suggestions - Merry Christmas, be safe and take care😎
Question. Is it possible to fit a low profile gtx 1650 or low profile gtx 1050ti in there? The battery isn't the concern. It is the space. Please help me out!!
I think i got this exact same pc from amazon lol. 8gb ram i5-4690 or something like that. I got the same motherboard too with the largest pci-e slot nearest the power supply unfortunately which means only gt 1030 will fit and not gtx 1050 or 1650. The gt 1030 gigabyte card i got does clear the yellow audio input plug thing you remove at 5.30 mins. Tempted to remove the cd drive and replace it with a second ssd drive since my ssd is only 240gb. Looks like i just need a 6-pin to 2 x sata and hopefully the system wont throw up bios complaints on start up that its cd drive is missing. Does look like i need a specific 6 pin to sata's though lol, lots of them online say only compatible with certain boards or your pc will get fried lol :/ I tested removing the yellow audio plug 5.30mins just in case my gpu wouldn't fit and you get these annoying bios error on start up without it. pc still worked fine but annoying to get bios messages on start up.
I want to install an internal Wifi PCI-e card which has bluetooth built in. Is there an extra internal USB port available on the motherboard for bluetooth connection? If not, can I use the vacant SATA port (for optical DVD drive) for bluetooth with some adapter?
I have this same computer i swapped to a bigger case and 500watt psu now i am only wondering if this motherboard will be compatible with the gtx 1060 x gaming?
Hi! Have you managed to get rid of the various checks it does for its original case elements? My machine displays the following alerts at boot time and I need to press F1 every time to get pass them. Alert! Previous fan failure. Alert! Rear fan failure. Alert! Power Button Cable Failure. Alert! Front I/O Cable failure. To continue press F1 key To change setup option press F2 key To run onboard diagnostics press F5 key How did you connect the front panel elements?
You have to make sure your power supply(psu) is strong enough. Check the specs on the graphic card for the needed wattage. You have to make sure the 1030 is ok with your cpu, ok with the plug for your 1030 on the battery and you have to put it in the big slot under the cpu and fan.
I am wondering if I can change out the Power supply for something more powerful, how can I know which PSU will fit? Also looking to add a graphics card for my girlfriend to game with me. @mxkdi
