To Repair the Mouse you need to open the sticker which is on the back after it you can see the screw, unscrew it do the same for other two screws, after that, you will see the main board of the mouse, remove the scroll wheel from the board clean it then places it back after placing it back, Try to scroll you use a screwdriver to tight the scroller "You can see that in the video "after that Put up all the parts of the mouse back, Boom that's it now your mouse will work perfectly.

One like and one comment to making this video easy for others to search. I just fixed the inconsistent scroll problem in my dell mouse. Same model as you have shown in the video. And I didn't take out the scroll wheel. Just cleaned it and then did the tightening bit which you showed at 2:25. I think that is where the issue lies, the scroll wheel loses it's traction on the sensor. Thank you once again. You saved on electronic and plastic item from going to junk and helped save planet a bit :)

You are a life saver bro! I was in the middle of an important work and my scroller started showing crazy behaviour. I ordered a mouse and it was due 3 days! And I searched RU-vid and found this. I have a Dell Mouse KM113 which had problem registering left clicks(only when pressing the button hard,would the click register). I opened the mouse as shown in the video,and gave good clean with a small brush,and while closing made sure the screws were tightly shut,such that there were no gaps between the mouse spring to reacht he button inside.I made it more tight,and instantly fixed the problem.Like new :)

It worked man, thanks a lot. I had a small difference in the setup. You said there would be a side where the small wheel spins slowly, but mine spins the same way on both sides and doesn't have a speed difference. So I just put the screwdriver and tried spinning clockwise. Luckily that worked I guess. Reassembled and its working fine now.

Thankyou bro, I used WD 40 in my mouse accidently. All the oil was in the rubber of the scroll wheel so i took it out and cleaned it. Its sooooo good now! WOW.

But it's ON/OFF button not working properly...when i turn it ON it's not ON in once then i have to do it on/off again & again. Then it works. Any solution for this?

Gently remove those rubber it will stick back, and mine mouse was having only one screw which you open 1st, so do check may be in new model they give only one screw. It worked for me, thanks. I clean with sanitizer and untill it dry it will not work for scrolling so keep patience. Use blower if need.

Sorry to say but there is no other way to make it work again, the best solution if you cannot find the dongle is to buy another mouse (wired or wireless)

Just use your right hand to pull the red colored part and push the scroller back in. Works fine, done ti twice now!!

Open the mouse and then check if the click button is working or not, if it's not working try to stick some paper over the click button. Don't use too much paper as it may cause issue while pressing button,just use tissue type paper to make the button a little tight.

Late to the party, you get a thumbs up for the effort but uh....you REALLY convinced me to buy a new wireless mouse. I don't deal too well with gross sticker residue. I build a lot of gaming PCs which is a bit time consuming so where this laziness is coming from is beyond me!

okay, no problem you can do two things here 1.First, try to remove any dust particles from the left click button and try to connect it with pc if it works then its good otherwise if you have a spare old mouse you can replace that click button with that.
