Thanks for doing this. I have the original ESAM machines that have been discontinued. This appears to use similar parts to mine (albeit they no longer assemble in Italy) but the compact nature of the new machines turns everything sideways and makes it much more complex to disassemble and repair a single component. I have lots of spare parts for the original design so I’m hoping I can locate a NIB machine on eBay. I love my Delonghi machines and I wanted to see if the inside had been cheapened down to lighten them and save costs. It seems to retain similar quality characteristics which is a relief.

Thank you for the video! I have problem with milk not working/frothing or sucking into the plastic straw. The water seems to be working fine from the water sprout, and do get hot. I got no continuity though, on one of the two white temperatures sensors 318C, that you showed in the video 5:44 timeline. Anyway I’ve ordered a new one of those. Sadly, could not find the exact one to match my model number. It looks the same, so I hope it works. Question: I can not find the exact solenoid valve that match with the one I have. The numbers varies between 5301VN10P46AIX and mine 5301VN27P50APX. Are they working differently or is it fine buying even when different number? Both for Delonghi of course. I wonder if it’s possible to order a similar one but not the exact correct model number. Do you know if it will work with a different one or you know where I can find the exact one? Gear I have: Machine - ECAM23.460.B Solenoid Valve (top one, no sound/hummeling) - 5301VN27P50APX Thermostat - 467E // Tf 318C // 155431078N Thank you a lot.
Sounds like a sensor (more like a switch pressed by infuser carriage moving too far along its axis of travel) is not triggering. I simulated this behavior while troubleshooting my ECAM which had trouble with sensor counting rotations and refusing to work after self diagnosis cycle.
Hello. We’re you able to fix that issue? Mine makes a bad noise then it says general alarm. Troubleshooting says upper and lower switch on transmition need replacing
Hi, I have an DELONGHI ECAM, I fixed the clogged tubes but when i take the infuser out and clean and placed it back, the machine keep displaying "INSERT THE INFUSER ASSEMBLY" and no matter what i do, machine keep displaying the same message. Any idea why??
Hi! I have same machine but the issue might be different, it doesn’t respond to commands, if is plugged in, is playing alone: switching on and off, water comes out and in the end I cannot make any coffee as buttons are not responding to orders. What that might be? Thank you!
@@magdylast9408 Be sure to check out this video as well, he shows the transmission in more detail. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HZ8oQUGtPjc.html
In my machine the piston of the infuser doesn't reach the upper position but stop at 3-4 millimiters from the top: the result is that a part of the coffee ground remain on the filter. Who know which is the problem?
Infuser may not be assembled correctly. Make sure that when the arm is in the down-most position, the piston is flush with the infuser housing. If not, take it apart and re-assemble with the gears lined up properly.
@@PeugeotStuff manually pushing the piston it reach the right top level. I think it depends from something during the process but i cant understand what. Everything seems right
