Love the 767 with only 1 middle seat on each row. I flew on Delta’s first 767 the one the employees bought that also transported the Olympic torch to SLC for the 2002 winter games.
Despite the title, the video keeps generalizing the "767" which confuses me because there are 2 variants of the 767 in Delta's fleet. So I just want to make sure, this retirement only applies to the -300 and not the -400 right?
United has a321 neo so not delta alone has the neo. 767 and 757 are amazing but it's best to get rid of them for better newer advanced planes with better interiors and new products.
While it maybe part of the consideration, I think the primary reason is that by the 2030 deadline most of Delta’s 767s will be pushing 40. Why spend more money on aging airframes when they can buy new A350s and A330neos to replace them?
