There is a reason He really likes the Undertale game over But Kris's ((aliven't)) body was in the way, so he dropped it all in a dumpster after recking it with the car.
If I remember correctly, long before chapter 2 came out, Toby made a post of him in the fisher price car with a caption along the lines of “The last thing you see before you die.” And everyone was so confused.
Even better if you had lower than 10 HP going into the fight, meaning Susie and Lancer probably fed Kris and Ralsei's unconsious bodies Lancer cookies or something
@Abdurazaq Omotunde I thought of one weird possibility there where Kris could still be the Knight. The game (Gaster, supposedly) asks if _you, the player_ will persist. And refusing causes the Roaring. Maybe the Roaring doesn't happen because Kris can't stop it, but because the player/the soul isn't there to stop _them._ But that's just a theory. *_A GAME-_* But seriously, I don't think this is the case, but it just kinda came to mind.
I wonder why noelle doesn't say anything on a game over.. perhaps she's frozen like a deer in headlights again Or maybe toby forgot to add that? If it was the latter, i can imagine her saying something along the lines of" "Kris..? A- are you okay? C'mon, You- you have to get up!"
When I most recently played through Chapter 1 i died to the rush right before the jail scene in the castle. The tense, panicky scene cuts out to instant darkness, and when I tell Gaster I'm not willing to go on, the mournful piano melody kicks in. I had imagined that the Darkners were shocked by the fact that they had suddenly killed a Lightner, and Susie and Ralsei started mourning, since the three of them had just started to grow together as friends. The energy instantly gives way to mourning before the timeline they're in, now doomed, begins to fade from existence.
@@indie_gamer7 I was thinking more Horrortale showing how the world changed after a neutral ending Doesn’t have to be canon Can be a fan game like horrortale
@@krei-ations Mostly it would either be the monsters would give the soul to Asgore, a monster would absorve the soul, Toriel would cry and feel worse and become depressed, and if you die, say during Asgore or true lab monsters would become quite depressed to lose such a nice human that helped so many, Undyne would maybe become sad and Alphys might blame herself even more In a geno Undyne would be considered a Hero, but would die do to DT, sans would be considered a hero to the moster that lived, mostly people would be glad you're dead
i find it really interesting that (supposedly) gaster talks to you at the game over screens. Along with that it sounds like gaster is talking directly to the player (instead of Ralsei and Susie talking to Kris [Side note, Ralsei doesn't mention Kris so he could be talking to the player, or to player and Kris at the same time]) It's also interesting that this happens only in chapter 1 it's like the menu with gaster thing too
the chapter 2 game over is different, but if you choose to give up his text appears again, implying that he's still the one in control, just hiding in the background this time
Anyone gonna mention how the guy we encounter while making the vessel (Who I assume to be Gaster since the text speed is the exact same) is the one who narrates the end of the world when you say "No/Give up" here or..?
What about the dialogue if you die to noelle’s prank? She says something like “Sorry, Kris! I didn’t mean that, I was just joking!” Maybe I dreamed that up, I’ll have to play it again and test it out, see if I’m crazy
Okay. Why does Noelle not have any dialogue when Kris dies compared to Susie/Ralsei? Why does the game gives us some agency in this Game Over state (by stating if we want to continue or give up)? Ralsei clearly says that dying is not "[Kris'] fate". As if Kris did not have any choice in this matter. This would be echoing to what Susie/the weird narrator in chapter one's intro said, as nobody can choose who they are in this world. But, this game over screen gives us some agency by giving us the choice to give up. It even depicts the consequences of said choice, as the world is being covered in darkness. Also, the name of the track playing during the showing of those consequences is "Darkness Falls". It is a funny double-entendre as "falls" could be from the verb "to fall" or from the noun "falls" (Like Niagara Falls). As we couldn't seal the fountains, they eventually ended up overflowing, thus causing them to become falls. Ralsei does not want the fountains to become unstoppable falls. The main difference between a fountain and falls is that a fountain is man-made whereas a fall is natural and made-up of several waterfalls. This all ties to the notion of the Genesis flood narrative, where a great flood swept across Earth to get rid of those who were impure. Could we infer that the Roaring is Deltarune's allegory for the Genesis flood narrative? Why does Ralsei wants to stop it, then, since it would, in theory, purge those who are impure? Is the Roaring why Ralsei wants us to recruit everyone so that they can all be in [player's name] town? So that they can be saved from the flood that will eventually come crashing down? Is [player's name] town an ark? So, by this logic, does Kris, by refusing his fate, doomed the world by letting most people in a flood? Will we have a Mother 3-like ending? Reading through all that, I sound like a madman. Well, too bad for me, I guess.
The one where Toby kills you has Undertale's Game Over screen... only for him to run over his own creation. The dev really knows how to mess with you from inside the game.
Funny thing Is once I was playing deltarune and the soul spawned OUTSIDE the box and Lancer and Susie made me take damage for some reason And that's when I died for the first time
I know I know I made a mistake but I just haven’t focused on the dialogue so much. At least the dialogue where Alphys and Toriel talk about them. I’ll fix it right now.
They don't kill Kris and Ralsei, but DOWN them. Side Note: I'd like to imagine while Kris and Ralsei were unconcious, they rebuilt the thrash machine and then took their unconcious bodies back to their SAVE point.
