Deltarune Chapter 3 - Signal of Freedom 

Wait I just realized that "Mike and Foane" is a pun on "Microphone", such an amazing level of detail!

Something I noticed is that foane is supposed to represent a landline phone (because of the wire coming out of her head) and she mentions how the lightners abandoned her drawing paralleled to how we as people have moved away from landline phones and more towards cell phones. This also comes up when Mike states they need a change in there show, very similar to how as we as a society have changed so to has our taste in entertainment

I really like that it implies the purple soul is being used in this one referencing how the purple soul was pretty important in hotland's miniboss and it's a pretty underrated soul type

I love how this came out, and I love Foane’s story even more. Her different road down insanity than Spamton, her relation with Mike, and especially her actually trying to save Kris, presumably from us. This story has so much potential, it’s going to be hard for the official Chapter 3 to top it!

I like the idea of Foane being the secret boss it's a bit more unique and I like the idea that the secret bosses want to help kris but have very questionable methods of doing so.

this is really good, nice job! foane seems like an interesting character and im glad you kept the "freedom" theming jevil and spamton and theoretically all the secret bosses have.

holy shit, im happy im not the only one who thought of the whole "theatrical mask" thing when it comes to designing secret bosses. It feels too right to not be a part of the third secret boss's design.

This is REALLY interesting, Foanne has great motivation for being one of the insane bosses, very original-feeling too!! And I love your style of taking irl pictures and turning them to pixelart (at least I'm assuming that is whats happening) I love this!

This motif's in soundtrack is very nostalgic and creative

This is amazing... such detail. I noticed that Muffet's song was here, I love the parallel with how Spamton was associated Mettaton and Foane being Muffet. Perseverance being the purple soul's associated theme, I can see how Foane could be associated with it for her insistence.

Love the parallels between Napstablook being abandoned by Mettaton and Foane being removed from the show, plus the perseverance mode that Muffet uses, they perfectly fit the motif choice of Ghost Fight/Spider Dance.

Definitely my favourite secret boss and Mike designs! There's something about them that just feel so unique, I love them!

Actually Foane would have sense in the canon of Deltarune, the deltarune characters are based on the tarot cards and Foane fits whit the hierophant, a card that means a character desperely searching something in the horizon

Amazing Zet is Underrated Huecycles and Lissspeeddevs are also underrated This character is like Sans I even hear a leitmotif of it at 2:00 Also at 1:44 you could hear Undertale’s Song “Once upon a Time” and Deltarune’s “Don’t Forget”

Oooh, this is really cool! I love how the video is really involved, you seem to have a lot of lore going on her. So is Foane Mike's sister and the secret boss of Chapter 3? Either way, this is really unique and cool, I loved all the motifs used, and there were a ton of really neat details in both the song and video. The little "thank you" at the end really made it for me, that was a great addition.

interesting; so this character is like the opposite of my chapter 4 secret boss oc (who also happens to be capable of turning your SOUL purple): she antagonizes kris and the fun gang because she thinks fighting them in a difficult boss battle will get her noticed and loved by "higher beings" of sorts. while foane seemingly had friends and lost them post-insanity, my character had no friends to begin with, and willingly went insane if it meant she could be loved by someone, whether or not they actually existed

anyone notice that the character's color always links to kris's soul's color during secret boss battle

I find it creepy that so many of us have imagined purple female characters as the secret boss of chapter 3

Y'know. In terms of the vid. It seems like it takes place in a sort of Deltarune EX Mode where you come back to the different places you already have been to but all of them now has a new problem now. . .Foane is the secret boss of the EX Ch.3 considering the description saying "The strongest darkner you had seen" and needing the Shadow Mantle to access her boss

Despite the fact that Foane gives us a clear explanation of her backstory, she's probably the most fitting out of all the fanmade super bosses I've seen. I can definitely see Toby using a character being written off of a show as a plot point for another seeker of freedom, so much so that if it _isnt_ what happens I'll be genuinely surprised. (And we all know Toby wouldn't explain her journey as flat out as this, though I appreciate the fact that you did. Makes Foane feel much more real.)

God I love how this consists of "unused" songs in UT such as Uwa so Temperate and STMPWYFS. Along with that, the spider dance part was absolutely fantastic. Edit: Almost forgot. What will the Shadow Mantle do in this fight?

i think that i know why there will be seven chapters in DELTARUNE,thus seven secret bosses!! its because there are seven soul types, and they will all use a different Soul!! if this is the purpose,nice touch,mr fox!! Spamton NEO used the yellow SOUL which symbolizes justice itself!! jevil used the red one,which symbolizes the power of DETERMINATION!! and now,even if its not official,Foane used the purple one,which symbolizes the strength of PERSEVERANCE!! I really think all those secret bosses will have a connection!!

I feel like each chapter’s (other than chapter 1) secret boss will have a “The World Revolving” leitmotif, showing that they interact with Jevil or seen him at least once Also compared to Jevil and Spamton Foane seems the most sane and kind

after the dead of my parents. i live away from my sister karine. where all adult now, but.. i means that i known what mike and foane feel. because like me. mike see his sister in misery with nothing to help here but his imagination. she soon leave him to find her purpose. poor mike become broken. and all remain to keep him happy is tv entertainement and the show he create. mike hope to put great shows and movies now to be reunite with foane. no matter people life he destroyed like spamtom. i hope for mike to be his canon story.

If she Will be real secret boss of chapter 3 then most of my theories were True. All those dark World made by Kris, his own imagination made their characteristics and some of they are similiar to Kris, like Jevil is chaos, something that can happen to Kris, everything or Spamton Who represents that Kris getting controlled. While Foane is despair of Kris not reaching an ideal world where he wouldnt get controlled by played but since it cant happen, he have no other choicw but accept it, probably next secret chars Will represent Kris again and his problemo.

To be honest this actually sounds like a good song that toby would probably use. Because you know our dog uses the main theme don't forget alot

My biggest complaint with this theme is that it just sounds like a build-up to something that never comes. Always get left waiting for some sort of main melody. It sounds just... odd this way

one thing i dont like about this is that Toby would never make the gasters theme leitmotif so noticable. but other then that, one musician to another. its amazing

Honestly I think this actually stays in line with Modtro's Mike design. If only this was the secret boss instead of downplaying Mike's role and design as a dark television instead of Modtro's light one. Also, the Shadow Mantie actually ties into the game's previous chapter which is more likely than Tapes or the dark Mike. Really hate the Dark Mike design, but this as a secret boss... I'll take it along with Modtro's Mike.

I thought it was cool that the purple soul was the one in the third chapter. since the first being that of the determination that appears in the battle of asgore and jevil. the second justice that appears in second to last place in undertale and deltarune appears in the second chapter, so probably the 3 soul will be the purple one that is the third to last in undertale the purple soul is also the persistence demonstrating the persistence of the foene (Could the secret boss of the last chapter be papyrus with a blue soul?)

what if every secret is letting us practice with each soul color? jevil was getting us skilled with the red soul, spamton NEO was doing it with yellow, so what if the next boss is purple? there is also 7 chapters and 7 souls, so it would make sense. we could even see some new mechanics from the cyan and orange soul.

I like to imagine that instead of being fully insane like jevil and spamton shes on the edge of going crazy which is why she doesn't talk in all caps
