#Marvel #legion Go here for a longer version -- • Facets of Delusion: Th... A mash up of two segments from Legion, Season 2, Episode 1 and Season 2, Episode 2 on the concepts of delusion, reality, and madness.
After watching episode 3, I decided I'll wait until the end of season 2, and then I'll append the rest of these narrations onto the end of this one and re-upload... Check back at the end of the season.
Whoever made this series deserves a Nobel Peace prize because it's one of the best series ever made. It makes the Marvel of today which is Disney look like throw up on top of dog turds on top of cat piss.
Noah Hawley. He also does the show Fargo, though I prefer this show. He also is supposedly doing an Alien tv series loosely related or based off of the Movies
@@holdwhatdoor7629 Fargo was amazing too. He’s for sure a talented creator. More than I can say about 70% of the modern day creators today in Hollywood.
These Jon Hamm segments are the best of season two legion I hope season three continues with these. They are the best part of the Legion considering the ending of this season I suppose. It explains th season three continues with these. They are the best part of the legion considering the ending of this season I suppose. It explains Cids stupidity in the finale and the rest of the team. Even though the creator has said this will not end well for David I hope that the team at least knows that shadow king is the blame for the end of this.
Most people are delusional, frankly its the only thing that keeps this 'society' going...an obvious allegory on actual reality. Easily top 5 shows on TV right now.
We are all delusional to some degree. We embody every psychological flaw to some degree-Such is imperfection. The question of clinical mental illness is when one or more of those flaws begins to compromise your quality of life and functionality. We have now reached the stage in history where our escalating character flaws and mental illness has sent us to Defcon 2
I work with a team leader who is delusional. She has no qualifications for the job but somehow was hired for the position. She interferes with everyone's work advising them when they need no advisement. She was supposed to hire someone who had the qualifications for the job she represents and several appeared but she rebutted their applications and keeps the position. Its amazing how people like this float around in this world getting away with their perceived abilities. I have to have the professional qualifications which have to be verified to do my job as well as almost everyone else who works here. But she doesn't. The worst part is that this is all under the funding and direction of the federal government. I guess we will see what happens.
this whole concept messed me and stuck with me so much I decided to make it my career to learn and research more about it 😭✋(neuropsych and theoretical psych)
Yes... I do plan on doing just that, but after reviewing episode 3, I decided the best thing to do would be to append that on the end of this video. That said, since the first 4:27 would be identical to this video, I decided the best thing for me to do was wait until the end of the season and then pull out all the relevant sections, and then create a montage of these narrations.
Does anyone know the name of the music that starts at 3:13 and continues on through to the end? Been looking through RU-vid for an isolated version of it - but no luck so far.
Jeff Russo scores the music for Legion, and when you listen to the soundtrack there are a ton of hints that the composition is, in fact, Jeff Russo, but I don't know what the name of the piece is.
It can be found on the season 1 soundtrack, it's just called "David." Not sure if there's an isolated version on RU-vid but I at least know it's on Spotify.
Poor David. Can you imagine what he would've been like if he wasn't infested by a POS coward and psychopathic control freak? All that he could've done, been. :T
man that is called Jesus made clay, and (JOHN 9:11 ) anointed mine eyes,.....GENESIS 9:11----John (9:11 ) And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. GENESIS 9:11 KJV....... And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. Revelation 9:11 KJVThe bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together; Isaiah 9:10-11 KJV He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and (JOHN 9:11 ) anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. .......I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. ...... As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And....... Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. John 9:2-6, 39-41 KJV
Society as a majority is delusional in some ways. And a smaller group that believes something different that might be the truth, will be found delusional by the bigger group. That makes me wonder what madness is.
Madness, frankly is a set of patterns of behavior agreed upon by the majority of a popultion to be so deviant from the status quo, that it is by this definition agreed upon, that such behavior is either a threat to it, or a threat to the beholder of sayd patterns.
@@mark0032 if one is inclined to believe in delusions, one wouldn't think delusions are so bad. Yet, in the end, whether your delusion is abstract, such as the belief in deities, or concrete in nature, such as believing crystals have healing powers, it leads to harm on a societal level, personal level, or both.
@@Kehvan well we're all delusional to an extent, we just hear about the extreme cases of a delusional idea. "That in which if you stop believing it reminds true", anything conflicts with that is delusional. Religion is delusional, believing in any collective meaning is delusional but it moderated those in it and differences in delusional thinking caused conflict, crusades and such. Its more than a good bad dynamic. All perspective thinking is delusional. As soon as you form thought your delusional. Conformitive delusion is social normality. Who's to say that leg was his? Fundamentally he's a collection of carbon chains that form proteins and cells and organic systems that respond to stimuli, he's a collection of atoms that thinks its never been anything else. What did he lose when he cut off his leg? Fundamentally he's still the same person minus a leg and when is was removed is delusion became reality, it wasn't his, he had no control over it. The human condition confesses the shit out of me. If all perspective in the universe ends the universe isn't even the way we see it, its just how we perceive it. Delusion is fundamental to the human experience, we just have to agree on the delusion.
A great representation of what is happening to our youth in Western culture. Logical and reasonable thinking must be rejected to enable the delusion to manifest.
Thank you. I found that out when every clip on RU-vid from the series was tagged with Movie: Legion (2010). I was just wondering why all the clips from the 2017 series were tagged with an unrelated 2010 movie.
If you watch still cuz of scenes likd this, lemme do you a favor and let u know this is it, rest will make u want money back u didnt even pay. It dont get any better
@P.D. S Maybe. Not likely, because the concepts addressed cover so many topics, and these series of monologues I edited into one also covers moral panic which arguably addresses the countervailing arguments against critical theory.
@@Kehvan yeah speaking as a writer don’t doubt us living in a world predicted by Kafka, Huxley and Orwell, plus countless wise minds across time If you study history, sociology, psychology, religion and you understand the various philosophies and sciences that exist, while able to perform pattern recognition And deductive reasoning for speculation, it’s not very hard to predict what’s gonna to unfold due cause n’ effect, despite people wanting to pretend like it wasn’t all obvious The truth is the average person today is as smart as a caricature from a sitcom
@@Kehvan Based on the body of work provided by this writer I think he’s privy to the paradigm shift being an engineered, and currently unfolding , so he’ll further reveal his knowledge in his new Disney “aliens” series that is due to come out
