DJ JT Lakers could see it more as a cap space move. Jones is on a minimum deal and would have more playing time to showcase what he can do and improve. The Lakers at this point should clear cap, get rid of vets/heavy contracts, and build for the future through youth. Hoping they get a top 3 pick so they can keep it for this upcoming deep draft

He is like a modern day Patrick Ewing not as good a defender but a better offensive player. Tough, competitive, passionate plays old school back to the basket, with a nice outside game a true center, & it shows 1) If you a great big in todays NBA you can't be stopped 2) Patrick, Shaq, hakeem, & the great Centers of the past would dominate todays game
You dared to cite Ewing, Shaq and Hakeem in the same sentence? Jesus Christ...Almost 25 years later, people still overrates that Knicks team. Charisma ≠ Quality. Ewing is by no means a great player. A CENTER who shots 35% in a Finals series is not something to be taken seriously.

All you keep stating is one finals against him he was a beast point blank he was a great defender reb & became a prolific scorer, he is a hof center and top 10 all time. Shaq has stated Pat was one his role models and Hakeem, MJ, & Reggie have also gave him major props jist to name a few. He had tough competition & played with the least hep.pf any great center in NBA hostory. Many didn't win because of Hakeem and MJ. Stockton, Malone, Ewing, Robinson, Miller, Shaq, Payton, Ghill, Mullin, Hardaway, Alonzo & so on. It doesn’t make them any less great they played against the GOAT and arguably the best center other than KAJ. So to discredit Ewing as some mediocre scrub when everything other than one finals points other wise sounds like you have clear biased against him.
