her mix is FUCKING INCREDIBLE now, i mean her confidence in her upper register is INSANE she used to dodge Bb5 all the time and now she’s sustaining them and hitting B5’s like they’re nothing. My only wish is that she worked on her tone in her upper mix, because it sounds a little pitchy. When she hits a G5 and higher, it sounds like she’s going to break out of it out of nowhere. Granted, i think she’s going to get even better in the next few years with her new rock kind of mix, but I hope she takes it easy with the high notes and doesn’t push herself too far. A lot of her upper register mixed notes sound a little scream-ish or sound too heady. Her mix is so balanced now, i think 2021 was the beginning of her vocal prime and i think her mix was more solid in the DWTD era, but her Revamped era mix is out of the world. I would have never expected to hear this out of her. It’s incredible
And what's crazy she has been so underrated in the music industry for a long time but how just blows my mind. This women is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, STUNNING, AND HER VOICE IS JUST 🤯🤯🙌🙌💯
I feel like being completely clean and more relaxed about her vocal performances and image in this rock era have had the best possible effect on her voice. Her voice sounds less strained and the notes she produces are incredible
i like how her mix voice is more balanced that it doesn’t sound like she’s screaming as she used to do in previous years, she’s also resonating those upper belts effortlessly, she’s getting it omg
you said it best, it sounds like she has more control on her upper range than she did in the past years & she sounds like she has better placement in her upper register as well.
@@billiekyle her live performances weren’t always perfect but.. I disagree. I think everyone is just used to whisper singers and if anyone actually opens their mouth, they’re screaming.
I love their new mix on their upper belts but I really wish they’d work on their tone on their lower/mid register. The extremely nasal and pinched sound doesn’t really work for their mid range, but does give their upper belts that metallic sound. I miss their tone from their unbroken era where it was light but not nasal in their mid range.
I've learned that nasality is not a bad thing, except for beginners because it can be an uncontrollable singing habit overtime. Nasal placement is a good way to access mixed voice, and since we're talking about placements, her placement on live performances is a bit more lighter to reserve energy just like Ariana, and that does affect the power of her mid range. Nonetheless i think she's on her vocal prime, but if this isn't yet, I'd be more than mindblown
@@chrisvofficial657 I don’t think nasality is a bad thing but they over use it throughout their vocal range. I prefer the mid range to be less nasal so that their tone can truly shine.
@@knaxor yeah she uses the technique throughout the mid and upper range to reserve the vocal energy on live performances, sacrifices a bit of the tone quality, but it's way healthier
@@serenagentili6719i believe she said after her overdose she lost some hearing. So she can't hear her properly and not do some of the notes without sounding so pitchy (i could be wrong though)
I love Demi Lovato, but I think she needs to practice on certain parts of her songs. I heard on an Instagram live that she was super nervous during one of her performances because the floor was slippery. Maybe this could be why she needs to work on some aspects of her performances. I think she still sounds amazing and I still think that she is a bad ass woman for recording some of her old songs.💃💃👸👸👩🎤👩🎤👩🎤
That's not her range expanding she's screaming and yeah she has the ability to tighten her vocal cords enough to make it high pitch like that but this whole trying to be a rockstar thing is going to end up destroying her her voice

Did she rework all her songs in the rock style because the off key shouting/screaming/belting is more acceptable in rock? This is not enjoyable to listen to at all. Just because you can be loud doesn’t mean that’s all you should do.
