I'm so so so confused as to why she hasn't won a grammy yet. Her self-titled album DEMI deserved one, and now her Confident album does too! Amazing voice, amazing person!
2 reasons, 1. She's still signed to Hollywood Records, a crappy label that barely promotes their artists. She has to promote her albums herself. 2. Media loves putting successful artists against each other 😒

Steven Matthews I beg to differ with the music! :o I think her songs are wonderful. Her music has really evolved from the beginning till now, and unlike many many artists out there, she's sung about things that truly matter, or issues that are close to heart. For example, Skyscraper about her confidence, self-esteem and issues with bullying, Trainwreck about the instability of a person and how that's completely fine because that's who they are and how they deserve to be loved, Warrior about fighting through your obstacles, Confident about being comfortable with who you are, and so much more.
Her voice changed so much. It's surprising how Don't Forget and Here We go Again era sound almost the same with Tell Me You Love Me/Confident era yet more clear. If you umderstnd my grammar lol
Shes literally one of the best voices this generation has and yet shes still underrated? People like pure trash these days...Demi deserves more attention.

Lets be honest, one of the most underrated singers today. She deserves grammy more than anyone at this point. She is really strong person and also has strong voice range. So don't hate singer because she can't sing everything thats obvious no one can. Appreciate she exists. Look how Grimmie left us so soon.

Demi Lovato is someone who should be snagging all those Grammys. No hate to Taylor, but the Grammys seem to FAVOUR her, disregarding the spectacular singers with frickin' PIPES like Demi!! I personally think the Grammys lost its former glory - it's all a rigged popularity competition.
Taylor is much more talented and versatile than Demi. Demi can hit the note but can't write or produce like Taylor plus I haven't seen any change in her singing style or songs except for Confident.
2009/2010 the times she was dealing with/coming up to dealing with all her eating disorder and self harm issues, and she still sounds clean and perfect. God, how I admire this woman😍

there is also Dove Cameron now, if you listen her cover of Let me be your star, you'll see that she can sing, even if she lacks of control. But for some reason, Disney Channel keeps making her sing songs that don't do her justice.
It's nuts she not more recognized as one of the greats. She matches (in octive range) quite a few of the greats. In fact, her octive range is higher than Beyoncé, Adele, Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse. She seems to only be out ranged by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey (in relation to the really well known greats) and there's probably more who out range her- but I mean, that's pretty impressive!

TBH, she was proven right about Taylor, there was no beef between her and Nicki, the media tried starting that and I'm a die hard Lamb and even I agree she can be a bit extra but I still love her. And with Perez, literally everyone hates that disease ridden cockroach. He's so fake. He went after Gaga, 5H, Bieber, Britney, Ariana and Demi so it was right for her to call him out. People these days don't like Demi because she's gonna say what's on her mind even if society don't like it.
I believe the issue with singers such as Demi Lovato and Jennifer Hudson, who are incredibly gifted with vocal range, tend to "over-sing" songs. Having talent is necessary but without proper vocal control and understanding how much vocal power a song needs (not every song needs belting or massive runs), they're performances to me just come off a bit amateur and forceful. I think learning to control their talent is the first step to producing better performances.
Sorry, but Demi does not SHOUT, shouting is when your mouth stays still, if you look at her mouth it moves because she is trying to hit the right notes, she never yells in any of her songs being able to sing that high is amazing.

Yeah , really don't you still understand she rarely ever does live concert with her vocals . Most of the time mostly in Revival tour also she lip syncs nothing else . she may have other talents in fashion , model but singing isn't her thing !

Her voice has gotten...different since she first started. YES as you get older your voice gets a little deeper and more mature. But she also had her tonsils removed and her voice sounded a lot clearer back in lets say 2011 or 2012. I think it gets to the point where vocalists stop having vocal coaches. She needs to go back to the basics before she over works her voice :(
