Zhangeldy Rakhimbekov Princess Renner is just as smart as as him and I have a feeling she will try and outsmart him and Albeado in a Light and L kind of way.
Those are the most dangerous opponents, since they "use" their anger to give them a boost to clarity and focus, narrowing their precision to a razor's edge. As opposed to those people who let their temper get the best of them and fly into a rage at the slightest provocation, getting sloppy and making critical mistakes. Don't taunt or get into fights with those people unless you are SURE you can win. It never ends well..
Hence why in the New World, the UI is severly limited and mostly gone. Cuz if it was still around, we wouldnt have a show since every human that faced a being of Nazerick would just see a Skul and crossbones or bunch of ????? where the level number should be...as well as their name in red text
I think the only person he butts heads with is Touchme, but i'm pretty sure he just likes to troll Touchme alot, but were good friends in a brotherly rival way.
I think that Ulbert probably more so dislikes what Touch Me _represents_ rather than the man, himself. Touch Me is a privileged, somewhat spoiled person who gets what he wants without having to really strive, while someone like Ulbert can _never_ improve his life because of factors that were never in his control and never will be. And it's honestly a realistic way of being angry at how unfair their world is. Touch Me did nothing to deserve being born lucky and Ulbert did nothing to deserve being unfortunate, but that's just the cards they were given.
while i don't think Touch is someone who does't actually try,but their social status indeed greatly changes things,Touch had a family of his own. he lived a winner's life, while Ulbert had pretty much nothing in his life

thats the dumbest thing i ever heard. since when can a skeleton with god level magic abilities also b a night with god level sword skills. seriously learn to make theories that aren't as outrageous. 😉
yeah cool story bruh! what are you gonna say next? that Momon the hero of mankind is actually that evil Ainz skeleton in disguise? take off your tinfoil hat please
This is a massive spoiler... Yaldaboath actually works under Ainz. The maids were actually Ainz's maids all along. Nabe is actually Naberal Gamma, one of those maids. I didn't believe it when I first saw this either. But there's no way Ainz is actually momon. That's just a stupid theory. It's actually bullshit.
And that leaves you without any support at all to fight the boss which is almost impossible to beat now that it is concentrating all it´s effort to kill you with it´s OP attacks and never gives you a chance to heal. Yup, never again
+ReconCrusader Gagaran and Tia is not as legendary as they believe, they are somewhere between lv 20-26 of what I understand (and Gazef who is an actual legend is lv 29), while Evileye is lv 50 and Entoma is lv 51 and then there is Demiurge who is lv 100
No, they helped. Evileye on her own would have been killed. Evileye is the main reason they won yes, but without the other two backing her up, she didnt have the health and dps to bring down entoma even with her lucky break with vermin bane.
@Emperor Ssraeshza no Entoma was getting distracted by the other two meanwhile she was getting hosed down with Vermin Bane if not for that spell Evileye would've lost unless she uses her full power but she never does so she would've lost
@Emperor Ssraeshza Entoma is still stronger than Evileye so even she didn't have the armor I doubt she would lose, even then if Evileye went up against any other Pleadies she would lose
@Emperor Ssraeshza my delusions? Entoma may be a support but she is still a higher level character and I guess you really could say the same if Evileye didn't have her magic armor as well and other than Evileye going all out she loses she literally almost lost and it was 3v1 so if anything you're the delusional one kid
Fun Fact: I did that fairly often when the English servers for Megaten were still running. I wasn't "Max" level, but I was still a very high level (high 70s) with a very powerful Demon (Morrigan). Yet I would regularly go back to early instanced dungeons with the express intent of taking some lower-level players through some of the higher-difficulty runs. I still remember how many of those players would basically be ogling my Morrigan and asking how to get one of their own. :P
Warframe you could just install the game and be your very first mission and still get in a max rank, boosted squad of players just speedrunning the level for farming if you choose to play public instead of solo
Fun fact: That spell Evileye used when Demiurge hit her allowed her to consume mana to avoid taking damage, and according to herself, if she hadn't used it, the damage would have incapacitated her
When Demiurge inquired why someone of Evileye's level would team up with people so much weaker than her, it may have sounded like mockery. And it probably was. But he also has a very logical point. Team level balance *is* important. If one member is 20+ levels higher than everyone else, and the group encounters an enemy on the same level as the strongest team member, they'll have to both fight the enemy, and try and keep their weaker teammates safe because they wouldn't be of any use. That's a distraction in a fight.
In the worst case, they are just mules (carrying supplies and loot). If I think of e.g. of the Landsknecht in our real history, they dragged along their wives, children, craftsmen and a whole lot of others with limited combative potential. They however, set up camp, made food, repaired stuff, treated the wounded... However, after big battles, many of these civilians participated in the looting, which was very dangerous due to skirmishes and fires (in narrow medieval streets). This meant that even the women were armed.
True but first there is pretty much no one else who is actually at evil eye level and having lower lvl team members you trust is better than ones you don’t or no allies at all also remember those two aren’t weak they are incredibly strong just not on the level that can stand against demiurge
Evil Eye uses an item to supress her true Power. I think she is around level 60-65 (wich would make her almost a god among the "normal" humans we have seen so far) but the Item makes her as strong as i think a level 30-40 Character. Demiurge as a level 100 Being can see through it and knows her True Power (i think in the Light Novel he mentiones something in that direction.. i should re-read them :P ).
MAN! Even in the LN or anime aspect, Demigure has that personality that makes insults so on point and classy that even Evil Eye lost composure. His brutality and intelligence makes him almost unstoppable.
Hellfire Wall, I think, is actually a fairly low level spell that's mainly used to distract and/or prevent movement. It isn't used as a damage dealing skill, but the fact that it killed them in one shot says a lot about just how far above Demiurge compared to the rest of these adamantite heroes.
all guardians are lvl 100, evileye is a vampire lvl 50 and gagaran and tia are humans around lvl 28 so everybody in nazarick that be a figther is OP in the new world
50 is unknown it was suspected the Black Knight was around 60-70 based on Cursed Knight requirements. To give you a sense of how strong that is that is roughly the same level range Naberal is and she's one of the stronger battle maids. Etoma herself is 51.
Clementine of the first season had more power since momonga couldnt even touch her. And here we have momonga vs demiurge just dealing basic attacks that suprise everyone
I love how the anime takes the time to show Demiurge acting like a concerned older brother to entoma, asking if she was alright and imploring her to go back and rest. In the novels it’s made clear that when interacting with his fellow NPC’s, he sees them as genuine friends and colleagues, even though he argues with Sebas (given their MASSIVE karma difference.) he sees it more as a simple difference of opinion
The problem isn't Karma difference. He gets along with Cocytus just fine. Sebas' creator and Demiurge's creator weren't on the best of terms and NPCs inherit much of their creators. That's why Shalltear and Aura keep bickering despite being on really good terms with each other.
I love that Evileye's companions run when they are ordered to. They don't go like "Together we can do it!" they know how strong Evileye is, that when she says what to do they are supposed to follow suit.
One of my favorite things about anime modeled after western fantasy is when they do that, it’s a nice perspective on how in western media, foreign casters will shout in their own native languages for spells to make it sound mystical and unique to the audience.
Its scary when you consider that Demiurge is one of the weakest floor guardians in terms of pure combat strength. He's not meant to be a front line fighter but a backline commander who summons and buffs minions to fight for him.
and yet he used that ability to single handedly to enslaved monsters and destroy the sacred kingdom if it weren’t for some accidental meddling from his boss
As we've heard from his inner monologues, his literal quote is: "When it comes to battle, I am confident I would win (against the other guardians) given enough preparation. There is only one opponent whom I can not assure victory. And that's my master, Ainz ooal gown, who is always ten steps ahead" This means that Demiurge is indeed one of the most dangerous individuals in nazarick. And that there are more ways to win a battle than a straight brawl.
HulktySSJ2 It seems that you have not understood me, I have read the LN and the WN twice and I am aware of what she is, and I continue to say I like it for some reason, not only because I like her appearance, but because for me it is one of those that make up the anime and manga that I adore, and she has his own personality. I'm trying to memorize every single thing about Overlord, so you must have an idea of how fucking pissed I am when someone explains me something obvious like "she is using a mask, you idiots". Have a good day, sir.
A 3-on-1 fight. A level 50 and two below level 30, going up against a level 51 Bug Shinto loli with elite equipment (and a support class, at that). And the group *barely* won, even with Evileye's "hard counter" spell, having consumed every potion and consumable in their inventory. They couldn't even kill Entoma, just reduce her HP to the level where she couldn't fight back anymore. So when the elite floor boss Demiurge (level 100) switched in, they were all well and truly f***ked. Even more so when he blocked teleportation magic and insta-killed Evileye's two allies. Her most powerful spells couldn't even penetrate his passive magic defense.
Evileye is much stronger if this was 1v1 it would have ended much faster. Evileye is level 63-65 so she was never in any danger. Even with her op gear that spider would lose so stop acting like she would do better. Those two only slow her down since if your not similar levels you have to cover them while still fighting.
Your argument makes no sense they would have easily killed her if the " floor boss" did not come in. She tried avoid evileye while picking on the weaker two to lure her out. Which is why it makes no sense for them to be with her.
Evileye only tipped the scales due to her Hard Counter skill "Vermin Bane", which specifically was something that Entoma could not handle. Against ANY of the other Pleiades (excepting maybe CZ), not even Evileye would have made a difference. Entoma's special gear also swung the pendulum in her favor, which diminished the advantage that Evileye held over her. It's hinted that she wants to fight Evileye again in revenge for killing her "Lip Bug" and depriving her of her nice voice; it will be interesting to see if it happens, and what tactics Entoma will use to protect herself against the insecticide AOE spell. Also, compared to Entoma, all the other maids in her squad are spec'd for combat. Entoma is meant as a support class, filling in wherever she may be useful. It still doesn't change the fact that 3-on-1, they still almost bankrupted themselves just to stay alive. That alone speaks to just how powerful she is. We've already seen that Yuri could curb-stomp Evileye, and Narbarel outclasses her in every respect as a spellcaster. I feel really sorry if she ever went up against Lupisregina, who would toy with her until she was begging for death. And Solution, as an Assassin, would be hard to damage, since her slime characteristics make fighting her a daunting task. The only question is: would CZ's weapons give her an advantage in a world where people are entirely unfamiliar with ballistic and laser-based firearms?
EvilEye is around lv 50. She is on par with some of the Battle Maids from Nazerick and one lv weaker than Entoma. The two warriors before her were at most, lv 30. Entoma is naturally a supporter but even a support class can easily kill lower levels given certain skills. When it comes to others on her level or stronger, than her support class is key
I Believe Demiurge did take them seriously for the slightest moment and allowed evileye to make the first attack, testing her power with that nullification ability. Believing it to be some sort of trick, he decided to use the hellfire wall spell that probably had a similar amount of power evileye had on her buckshot to try to trick them into thinking he isnt that powerful. But seeing how tia and gargaran died to that measly attack instantly dropped Demiurges wariness over them and decided to toy with evileye in her despair.
Hmm... such a powerful and charismatic villain like Jaldabaoth could only possibly be beaten by Ains or perhaps even Demiurge. A shame he didn't appear as they seem to look and act alike.
No I think it was genuine, he actually wasn't trying to kill them. The spell he used was pretty low level from what I know, but those 2 girls were nothing but fleas in terms of power and resistance. He merely meant to stop them at first, the objective wasn't to kill any of them. Demiurge is beyond evil but would never disobey an order purposefully, they was just weak as fuck lol
Big Red You are right, he was not trying to kill them. He used a spell that would damage but not kill someone with a similar rank to Evileye (AG's ranking: 150), but unfortunately both Tia and Gagaran have much lower ranks (AG's ranking: 80-90). (Edited) Due to the comments I have been receiving, I must clarify the confusion. The 'levels' I have been referring to are not the level of the characters in the New World, but simplify an estimation of the strength power or difficulty ranking established by the AG, the Adventurers Guild. This estimation may be different to other estimations made by different people or different Adventurers guilds from other nations. In order to avoid further confusions, I will modify here and now 'levels' for 'ranking'/'rank'.
1:59 EvilEye turned into one of my favorite characters here. She knew she could not run, survival odds were nearly nonexistent. But she was ready to go!!
Yeah She's my favorite of all of the New World's natives. And I like that she always acts so tough the entire show then immediately falls for Momon the moment he saves her and how he's completely oblivious to it because of how skeptical he is of everything lol. Their dynamic is so good. Every time they're together on screen I love it lol.
When this was airing, as soon as I saw Demiurge I legitimately went "OH THEY'RE FUCKED" in real life.... and sure enough, they had absolutely zero chance against Demiurge, but, I was impressed at how brave EvilEye was. She is such a great character.
This scene is so good it's worth watching an entire season for. That piano is p e r f e c t. And the voice actress is astoundingly good - that crazy short laugh/breath intake after seeing her comrades burned to crisp? And the passion she says her lines with! Just wow! And notice that awesome pause in music as she lands and recovers.
Idk why but for some reason I love the way Demiurge says Dimensional Lock. I love the way all the VAs say the spell names. Makes sense that all the spells would probably be just left in English since the YGGDRASIL was incredibly popular around the world.
i don't know if this is a spoiler or not but in the novel he was flying with nabe to the town due to a contract and spotted the fight so he orded to fly overhead and he then droped or something like that, i can't recall it perfectly, novel it's already at vol 12 it's hard to remember all
Im so glad I read the novels so I can actually KNOW what was going on in her head. Its hilarious. An ancient vampire wizard turns into a 13 year old fangirl with a crush.
I love the use of Ainz' theme at the end. Just from the music it tells you who it is that arrived before showing him and it sets the hype for the next episode.
Oops!...I did it again I killed all your friends, and you lost the game Oh baby, baby Oops!...You think I'm so tough That I'm treating you rough I'm not even trying yet
They did such a good job on this story, had my doubts when they started with the lizard men. that ark was enjoyable and each episode was better than the last, Unbelievable good pacing.
@@shortbus6560 You literally said you doubted it, but were pleasantly surprised? Idk what that guys talking about. I felt the same way though. It was just so weird. But ended up being really good.
I recently got caught up with the anime, and haven’t read the LN yet (I’ve heard good things about it However that’s enough for me to see that this anime suffered the same problem as a similar anime who recently got its first season animated (moonlit fantasy) in which their novels are so good and ambitious that they don’t know what to do or how to translate them to the anime, in mi opinion anime like this should be at least 30 episodes per season, and I say this because the moonlit fantasy LN is so good, specially when it gets political and in the underground scheme between kingdoms and countries, at shame that the anime skipped so many things in its first season
Demiurge be like "why are you teamed up with newbies?", Evileye is like "God damn it I was trying to run them through a high level dungeon to power level them".
That's why EvilEye should have gone with super-healing and protective magic, and run them through a low level dungeon. Much safer for them, and they can proceed from fight to fight much faster. Did that in NWNo, where I was a high-level cleric, in a 5-person dungeon raid. Everyone else got to fight, I just kept them alive. Most raids like that you have each character dying 1-2 times. Thanks to me everybody got to fight, and nobody died
that count down timer makes my excitement build even more everytime it changes (yes i know in my last post i said 2 days and that was not quite accurate but it was around 1am so... you don't do math when sleepy)
@@snusnoopuppy PA questions ains since he wants the best for nazarick, not because he wants to betray ains, tbh only Albedo seems to be likely to betray him
I love how Evileye is like the MC of the story and Demiurge is the finale boss the MC is meant to level up to defeat. Except they're both weak in reality
Well its a good thing demiurge came, instead of mare intervening if that happens they will never get mercy from him, just drops a AOE 10th Tier spell and they're toast
So basically, in WoW terms, the Pleaides are roughly 5-man dungeon boss level, given how 3 max-level adventurers, with one having a hard counter, took down Bug Loli with a lot of effort. And the Guardians are basically a raid boss unleashed outside of their instance, seeing how Demiurge killed two people by accident, how Sebas killed those elite assassins with zero effort, and how Shalltear having her nail ruined (translation: got her from 100% to 99% HP) was actually a titanic achievement by what is basically the #2 Warrior of the server. Nazarick OP
Average human adventurer or fighter in the New World is 10. Lv 19 is through sheet effort. Lv 30 is with effort and talent. Any human above lv 30 is considered legendary. The strongest humans (non players) in the New World were between lvs 50-60. Just to give you an idea how weak humans mostly are: The Pleadies are on par with the strongest human in history, Entoma is lv 51. The humans that faced her were 28 at most except EvilEye, who is half vampire and lv 50. The weakest mob guards of Nazerick are lv 30, then to the strongest, go up to lv 60. All floor guardians except Victim are lv 100. Sebes, leader of the maids and despite not being a guardian, is also lv 100. On top of that, the New World grind for lving is so much higher than when the game was in Ygdrassial. So thats why many humans are weak.
Hum...well that makes sense. I used dungeon/raid levels, but I supposed thinking of the Nazarick Guardians as level 120 (current top level in WoW) players and top humans as lvl 40-50 players also works. PvP fighting in WoW between a lvl 120 and a group of two-digit players should probably have the same outcome as Demiurge versus those poor suckers, the lvl 120's health bar probably won't budge, lol
Yea but for this case, the max lv is 100, not 120. I didnt even know WoW went that far up..I think I stopped when the lv cap was 90. Highest Ive ever gotten was a Druid lv 80.
Really puts you into perspective how weak new worlders are compared to floor guardians, even Demiurge is the weakest in terms of pvp-style combat, and he one-shotted two adamantite adventurers, who are supposedly the peak of mankind in the new world.
@@sophiawatson724 demiurge is a commander and only has the stats roughly equating to a level 60 but his real strength are his skills. In Yggdrasil a 10 level difference was basically a guaranteed win. Gagarin and Tia are both mid to high 20’s
Lost Comment And here we have a wild Demiurge outside it’s natural habitat. It seems like this majestic creature is asserting his dominance to the little and weak Evileye.
I do like how Evileye was ready to fight and die right there when she realized that the only way she could have a chance at escaping was if she left her friends behind. It's a shame that Ainz really dislikes her due to her almost killing Entoma, Evileye is actually a lot like him when it comes to valuing her friends over herself. She and Ainz actually get along very well in the alternate timeline where Momonga appears alone without Nazarick in the New World 200 years before. In that alternate novel, Evileye serves as Momonga's sidekick and closest companion. It's one of those, "They are enemies, but in another life, they could have been friends." Those stories are always kind of sad.
If you think about it, Ainz did not like the Foresights, yet they proved to be ready to sacrifice themselves to allow one of them to escape. And they had done nothing really serious to him.
@@elias2054 They invaded his home, tried to steal from him, then lied to his face about his friends existence. Seeing as he didnt get to read their backstory, they were lying thieving home invaders who deserved what they got. It was only the willingness to sacrifice themselves to try and let one member escape that got ainz to show as much mercy as he did.
@@elias2054 They still took the job, then when he, as momon asked about motivations all he was told was "Money of course!" Then they tried to bluff their way out of certain death by lying and pretending they met one of his friends. We, as readers/watchers had plenty of reason to feel empathy for Foresight, ainz had no reason other than their attempt to at least save one member of their team.
The more I think about it, I don’t think Demiurge was being serious when he acted surprised that Hellfire wall killed Evileye’s allies. I think he pointed it out to mess with Evileye and make her feel guilty about being close to lower level adventurers. He is a demon of sorts after all.
Heh, no "of sorts" about it. He is probably the most malicious member of nazarick and he absolutely revels in it. And he is ALLLLL demon! He literally seeks out the most malicious method possible of fulfilling whatever orders he gets simply because he enjoys causing pain and suffering and considers his efforts to create it an art.
Ainz Ooal Gown he so good at hideing his true intention I hope this show goes on forever just to watch him take over the whole world will be so mean to watch. Can't wait for the next episode.
@BlackGirlSlayer OfUnknownOrigins And about helping humans... Ainz does help humans, but indirectly. His aim is not to help them but to gain something. If the gain is greater by helping humans, he will help them, but only considering the existence of an initial gain. This show is not one where the main character has an alignment 'good'. This certainly makes it different from many other isekai's.
Yea. When Ainz arrived in the New World, he would assume a warrior class whenever he left the tomb to not only explore the world, but hide his true ID to make allies he can later exploit. His change into warrior class is actually a skill Ainz won long ago in a real life tournament for the game. While he gains the stats of a lv100 warrior, he still doesnt have their skill sets since he is a magic caster.
I was wondering what was going on, like why Demiurge wore a mask and Ainz looked like he be wanting to kill him I was like: did something happen in nazarick?
That's part of it, but it's also the fact that at this point in time, Ainz was unaware of Demiurge's actual plans, so until Demiurge could explain things to him, they played the part of being Nemeses to one another (and Demiurge himself admitted that he enjoys acting as the "foil" for "Momon") while they were actually not taking the fight seriously on either side. But they were so much stronger than Evileye that she couldn't even tell.
I think, (I think, as i legit don't have the answer), that they can somehow tell tha the is stronger than them and thus believing that he is "Evil Eye level threat" until she dismiss it and tell them to run away. So the "Evil Eye kin" could be related to level and not race
It's interesting how Demi only sees the idea of teaming up from a power logical standpoint and Evileye only sees it from a friendship emotional viewpoint.
He's not wrong. Think about it, if your teammates are significantly weaker, you'd have to devote time to protecting them _and_ getting the job done. From a logic standpoint, it makes sense to only journey with people on your level. However, considering Blue Rose is adamantite only, there's not a whole lot they can't do as a group, so that's not usually an issue for them.
