We all change, and we change along a linear timeline aside from how the community and larger world changes. Medicare is toxic. It's two competing forces with the nurse and her patient stuck between them. Hospital corporations try to maximize profits from Medicare, doing crazy things to enrich themselves - at the same time the bureaucrat is hopelessly unable to address it. They change rules every few weeks - there is NO WAY this is reasonable. My patients are dying, frankly, and it's alarming. All democrat policies matured like this. I tried and tried to address it. We need a reset. An entire reset. Break it down to the fundamental constitution. Fun fact: I am a descendent of Thomas Jefferson. So, I have a radically different outlook from others, I think. I will make ANY way work because of my oath and I fight every day for the good of all. Be well.

He was worse but history remembers him as one of the greats. If Biden bows out now and the next candidate beats Trump then Biden's legacy will be to be remembered as one of the greats as well. One of my hobbies is politics and I had many leads that were telling me that Obama knew of Biden's decline even when he was Vice President. His judgement on things is off kilter and is detectable if you watch him.

A lot of incumbent presidents have bad first debates. The debate stage is a very different place from a lot of the work they do. Reagan in 1984 and Obama in 2012 come to mind. It's not the amount of time you prepare, it's how you prepare. If there is a second debate, it would be good for Joe Biden to take a nap in the middle of the day. Then he'll be fine.
