Really? Lmao. It was hype af. But Cap picking hammer still the hypest for me. The only time that I scream in the theater without anyone conplaining 😂 don't know when will be next time I'm allowed to do it
Despite having read the manga I wasn't prepared for how much this episode elevated the material. Just hearing that one strum of the biwa made that scene so much more epic.
for sure! the animation, music and sound design of the anime is absolutely Hinokamitier. it's crazy how one sound can make you go: "oh no". what a fantastic episode. all that i've expected and more.
"Humanity's WILL is eternal and those feelings to correct a generational injustice, those are IMMORTAL". I really loved the master's final words to Muzan🔥
Guys, your reaction made me very emotional, also because I feel the same feelings you feel watching Demon Slayer. this ep had it all, animations, realistic CGI and lots of emotions. having read the manga I know what to expect and I'm happy to be a fan of Demon Slayer. don't listen to the criticisms that the haters say about ds because they are just envious and love to throw hate at a perfect product. See you at the cinema friends, and thanks for all your spontaneous reactions
The sisters of the Master's children never left their parents. Because they were raised strictly from an early age and understood the mission of the Ubuyashiki family, Hinaki and Nichika chose to remain in the mansion with their parents and die in the bombing of their own volition. Perhaps, they dared to stay because they thought that if there were too few people left in the mansion, Muzan would find out that it was a trap. Still, it was heartbreaking that Kagaya, Amane, and the sisters were all hit by a large number of makibishis at the same time the bomb went off. Incidentally, the "New Year's counting song" that the sisters sang while playing with paper balloons has 12 verses, and the 12th verse says, "We will perform the twelve Kagura dances and offer them to the New Year god." It's like a Hinokami Kagura.
I loved that the spike trap was from that random dude in ep 7, I love that Tamayo and Gyomei were using Yushiro's invisibility tags, everyone is pitching in as much as possible
@@TheTruePotato123not to mention that he was severed from Muzan’s control faster than any demon except for maybe Nezuko, and then cared for and cultivated by Tamayo. It’s possible that Tamayo helped him cultivate his Blood Demon Art specifically for this purpose.
A lot of people have said things I already wanted to, so I want to share one very small detail I love, and I think it was more apparent for me as an asian person from an asian household: Muzan tracked dirty foot prints into Ubuyashiki's house when they have their final talk. It's a wonderful way to show his utter disdain and disrespect in every aspect of their one and only meeting.
@_aurum in asian households we take our shoes off (outdoor sandals or whatever kind of footwear) at the door or entrance way so we don't track dirt into the house. Not doing so is incredibly rude, doubly so if it is intentional. Clearly Muzan wouldn't take his shoes off for anyone, but I like that Ufotable went out of their way to show that he left footprints in his callous disregard for, in Japan, is common decency. This is no joke, btw. I know plenty of people who visited Japan with stories about how a very polite and kind host would turn immediately angry if someone didn't take their shoes off.
If you pay attention to the conversation between Muzan and Ubuyashiki, it's clear that Muzan is still looking for Nezuko because Ubuyashiki hid her very well. So you can rest assured about this part. As for whether Muzan will escape or not, I can only say that Tamayo is not joking.
The emotional tone throughout this episode reminded me of what experiencing ep19 of S1 was like for the first time. The best episode of the series imho.
Fun fact: Master Kagaya's marriage with Amane is arranged, yes, but when it was decided he told her that if she didn't want to do it he would oppose to it so she wouldn't be forced into it. That made her see he was a really good person and agree to marry him. There was true love there, explains why she stayed by his side till the end.
@@goodisgood153 it wasn't just duty, as I just explained, from moment one she agreed to marry him not just for her duty but also for the type of person he was, it was a willing choice and bc of him personally.
@@iamdarkphantom Their daughters were there to make Muzan not expect a trap like that, because he never expected Master to be that big of a psycho, and Master knows if sacrificing 4 lives may save a 100, he will do it.
@@iamdarkphantom They want to be with ubuyashiki until their last breath along with amane except for the other 3 kids who is hidden if i remember correctly (the new head of ubuyashiki, the male).
Muzan is just manipulative . Tamayo was just offered to cure her sickness not knowing she would loose her sense of self and devour her children, despair just led her deeper into an hole, until a certain encounter she broke free
That's how a genuinely evil person works. Muzan never targets the strong. He only goes after the vulnerable and desperate. Children who never had anything. A man on death row. A mother stricken with disease who just wanted to experience the lives of her children. And then when they're driven to do horrible things, he pretends he had nothing to do with it as if he didn't put them in that position in the first place. Akaza went after Rengoku at the height of his strength to recruit him. Akaza is less of a coward than the Demon King.
I have waited for this reaction the moment I watched the ep yesterday. I’m EXSTATIC! Edit: Hearing how Demon Slayer changed their lives really tugs at my heart. I found you guys through demon slayer and I’m so glad I did. You two are so entertaining and I love you discussions!
We saw it with Rui back in season 1, Muzan never tells people how being a demon actually is, he just transforms them straight away or goes to sick people saying he has a salvation, where obviously everyone agrees immediately. He always has them under his control, like with their memories and their lives, that starts even from before of giving them his blood and transforming them, it starts from the moment he hides information from them to get to that point.
I love so much that in the beginning, they explain that Tamayo oppositely always asks permission and lets them understand the risk of what may happen and gives them the choice to make such a huge decision. I don't think it hit me until now just how important that scene is to contrast them.
do you remember in previous season , Kagaya Ubuyashiki said Muzan is the blemish in his family because it now all make sense, Muzan came from same bloodline but turn into demon, so he pretty much caused that bloodline to be cursed....what wonderful episode this is, looking forward for the next one
@@Nick-tz3ke I would assume the trilogy will cover infinity castle arc + sunrise countdown no?....maybe released annually to tie up the story. I just think they released the name of the first movie which is infinity castle with the other two movies to be revealed at a later time.
@@Wi11iamNZ I think the trilogy is only covers infinity castle arc, beacause it has that tag "infinity castle" on the movie trailer. It is the longest chapters in the manga, I think it has like 44 to 47 chapters if I am not mistaken, the last final arc is sunrise countdown arc, which only has like 22 chapters.
@@roselynveren5022 Yea you might be right. There are a lot of fights to cover and a lot of backstory/flashbacks, perhaps they stretch it into 3 movies...which I'm totally cool with...more demon slayer is a good thing
i don't think letting Nezuko be in that fortress along the other slayers would be a good idea, what Nakime is doing with her strings is scary enough. We don't need her there. Nakime can just teleport her in Muzan's hands...
I dont think they mean they want nezuko here for a practical reason. They are surprised she isnt here because story wise she was there the whole show so the final battle without her there is what surprised them.
@@bigjoh02 i never said they mean that they want Nezuko there for practical reason either. For any reason, Nezuko being there at all would be very bad.
A lot of people don’t realize this. Muzan WILL absorb Nezuko if he finds her. She won’t be helping in the fight, she’s going to be annihilated. Hopefully when the show returns it can hammer that point down some more and people will maybe catch on
@@hunkydory8437 Nakime is the most dangerous person in the fortresses right now as she can just teleport Nezuko straight in Muzan's hand. The author did well in not making her part of this arc.
Muzan would have simply asked if she did not want to die and not even tell her the consequences of his cure, which makes sense why she made sure to let Yushiro know the consequences before turning him.
As manga reader i can say ITS ABOUT TIME we enter the most destructive, heartbroken, powerfull and the most superior arc of demon slayer.zenitsu is locked in ,inosuke is thrilled tanjiro is determined all the hashiras are there along with the other demon slayers and kasugai crow in the infinity castle with the 6 most powerhouse demons
I can’t wait! I was in tears when I read it. Mugen train movie was a tearjerker and amazing fighting but these upcoming seasons (or movies?) gonna up the ante.
Love to hear your personal take and the post-anime discussion on the show. That resonates with me as well emotionally. I didn't know an anime can be so meaningful and influential on so many levels. The animation is so well-executed, but the stories just hit different. As much as I don't want DS to end, the Infinity Castle Arc is going to be crazy. Can't wait for the trilogy!
Muzan probably only let Kagaya talk as much as he did cause he didn't want to have a repeat of him killing his doctor too early again. Also I imagine besides just direct sunlight, Hinokami Kagura most likely might be able to kill Muzan too as it burns like the sun and makes regeneration difficult from what I recall from Daki. There's also Tanjiro's new sword. Any manga readers out there don't answer me, I'm just talking out of my ass.
Your subtitles got one thing wrong, Master Kagaya doesn't ask Himejima (or give him the task of) not letting more of his children, the demon slayers, die. He's actually just saying he hopes nobody else has to die, that's his idealistic desire, but he's aware that's surely not going to happen, that there will be sacrifices, so he would never put that kind of burden on Himejima's shoulders.
l am Japanese. The song that Hinaki and Nichika were singing... It's called "Counting Song." The twelfth verse reads. 12 kagura dances Dancing to God" This counting song [kazoe uta] is a New Year's song. The kagura of the Kamado family is performed on New Year's Eve. So it is said that this day is New Year's Eve.
I have the kagaya quintuplets together in the OP. Verified by hair ornaments. From left to right: Hinaki, the eldest daughter, and Nichika, the second daughter, Fourth daughter Kanata who was in Final Selection and Kiriya with black hair The third girl on the right is Kuina.
Awe I love you guys, the discussion at the end & you saying the new thing you love to do with her awe. You guys made me cry. It’s definitely going to break my heart ending demon slayer, it was the first anime I got myself into & I just can’t believe the rides almost over & im genuinely scared to lose more people. We’ve only lost rengoku & I’m still like not over that.
Without spoiling I am assuring you all that every single fight from now on is going to break the internet. It's so good that I literally got goosebumps while reading manga. Believe me people are not ready for what's coming 🔥🔥🔥🔥
been watching you guys' reactions since the first episode of Demon Slayer. My favourite channel because you guys don't fake reactions and are smart af. Don't worry, the real feast is just beginning :)
You guys have no idea just how much I loved the post discussion, especially about the confrontation between Muzan-Kagaya. It's really refreshing to find reactors who love and strive to understand this series as much as I do. Demon slayer will always be special to me.
It never ends. Your love for Demon Slayer is eternal and immortal. If I had only watched Demon Slayer in Japan, nothing would have changed. Seeing you all reacting to Demon Slayer has changed me. Thank you, Anna & Ben. From japan
I think something that goes overlooked with this season ending is that this is likely the last "episode" of Demon Slayer, and they did a damn fantastic job elevating the story yet again. Can't wait to see y'alls reactions to the movie trilogy conclusion! Also I say likely because given the opportunity, Ufotable will probably split those films into episodes like Mugen Train lol
Would've loved to see that included in the anime. That is such a nice touch, and brings the crows bond closer to their Hashira, and gives them more personality as well as highlighting their loyalty.
I do really enjoyed your reaction especially after teh episode, I could see how emotional both of you with Demon Slayer, just as heads up the next arc will be more emotional and prepared to get some tissues as you will cry a lot seeing the hashiras go toe to toe with the upper moon demons and seeing their backstory unfolds....some are quite sad and tragic,
Awesome reaction as a fan from the beginning. Demon slayer first manga I ever read and completed, really cool you guys feel the same way for this anime "set your hearts ablaze" 🔥
Just in case you guys misunderstood, idk if you did, Master Kagaya doesn't say that once Muzan is gone then demons will disappear like in the sense that only he can turn them and with no one else to turn them they would eventually be gone, he means that they work in a way that if Muzan dies then all demons also die with him instantly. That's also why it's so important that Kagaya guessed, that he felt Muzan's surprise and worries confirming it and why this fight to kill him is so important, you kill him and there's literally nothing more, no more threat, they would all just be free from hunting them and fearing to get killed by them or lose someone bc of them.
@@Gabriele_Oliva no, it is confirmed, that's what the scene means. People can interpret it in a different way but the scene was written to tell the watchers this piece of information and that's simply how it is, there's not such thing as a revelation or confirmation coming, this is the revelation and confirmation, from now on the story goes on as if you were completely aware of it bc you should after this scene, so the only way to not be aware if by missing the meaning of the scene and interpreting something different, so it's better to correct it.
That’s true. “Cells” is the key. Muzan can regenerate with only one cell exists. He made demon by giving “cells”. So his cells live in every demons’ body that’s why he can control them. But once his main body died with no any cell left , other demons died, too. The only exception is the one that Tamayo turned into demon.
20:54 another goosebump moment when you see tanjiro's sword has flame hashira's sword guard. i know they showed that long ago, but to show even 1-2 seconds meaning someone drawn those frames and colored them. meaning there will be something from flame hashira that are going to witness next infinity castle arc.
I never though I would get glued to demon slayer when I saw season 1 but when nezuko fought the spider demon I got hooked and I am so happy and glad I have stuck with this anime from beginning and I can't wait for the movie !!!
FWI: The ubiyashiki family new about the explosion and they where on board with the plan, even the daughters. Aside from that the crows 🐦⬛ where not dragged into the castle, they saw what was happening and quickly went inside to help all demons slayers with communications :) clever birds they are :P
14:02 at this point i had to pause and breath for 2 min, drank water, collected my thoughts before pressing spacebar. secondly if you read the post credits, apart from ufotable, there are 6 studios that were involved in this episode. 2 of those studios are known for 3D work. so all the explosion, muzan's brain and skull and all blood demon art of spike and thrones are all actually 3D. infinity castle is also 3D on it's entirety.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is finally entering its the Infinity Castle arc. Just when you think Hashira are gathered together, they are dropped into the Infinity Castle and are broken into pieces, and a battle begins to drag Muzan out of Infinity Castle and expose him to the light of sun. The movie trilogy depicts the approximately 5-hour battle that takes place during the approximately 6-and-a-half hours until sunrise. After that, the final battle and the end of the story await. Please look forward to the wonderful images and story.
The fact that the most scaredy cat of the Demon Slayer show was the one who was the most chill, was just SOOOOOO freaking amazing and just... wow. I never screamed sooo much. Zenitsu was LOCKED IN and READYYY
44:48 i believe, gyomei, serpent hashira and wind hashira might have their faith in their hands. i don't think giyu, love, mist and others would die. we still don't have backstory of wind and serpent hashira YET. that's why this is my conclusion. and gyomei will make a bigger sacrifice because as you know from his backstory he is someone who would sacrifice himself for anything and any of them.
Seeing you guys break down at the end of the reaction made me tear up a little😢your right demon slayer really change our lives🤧kamaboko squad all the way🙌😁
46:30 that's a great question that i did not ponder upon. has tengen sama summoned by biwa. O.O not to mention my brother inosuke's special ability of spacial awareness will be seen again. i would love to see that. inosuke's sense of spacial awareness, zenitsu's sound awareness and tanjiro's smell.
You forgot that muzan got inflicted with a medicine / poison that is turning him into human every second passes. He won't be able to leave the castle and search for Nezuko. Anyway, he doesn't know where Nezuko is, no reason to leave the castle also. I wont tell any spoiler, but if you understood what tamayo did, you will know Muzan isn't going anywhere. Edit...i'm loving every comments in every reactors i'm seing, how people reacts to Zenitsu, the clown ii s very serious and locked in. What you see zenitsu who is calm and eyes closed means he could be looking for someone in the castle via his hearing
LOVED this episode and your guys' reaction! For sure , my favourite reactors. 😊 - I'd love for you guys to react to the new trailer for next's movies + make it a theory discussion for each character/fight or something like that!
22:34 Same. Demon Slayer has that "urgency" in its biggest plot points where you just feel the rush and the time ticking. You feel tension and they really move the plot real fast And no they cant bring Nezuko. Biwa lady can just teleport Nezuko to Muzan immediately and that's straightup GG Nezuko's fighting ability while she is strong is not worth the risk as well as she really isnt as strong as a Hashira or any of the upper caliber demon slayers
