I take a closer look at Demoniaca Everlasting Night for the Nintendo Switch. This is a gothic Medroidvania style game with some really fun graphics and a good storyline.

Demoniaca definetly has it´s inspiration from Castlevania, but i noticed the movement and for me it screams The King of Fighters. It may sounds weird, but compare just the movement of the characters, in The King of Fighters.

Awesome. You got the physical copy for switch. I've been thinking about getting this game. The art style is great. I think I will get it. Physical is great

I would wait on it, or at least try a demo if there's any. I got it day one because I love Metroidvanias. But the controls and gameplay are pretty lackluster compared to other 2D Metroidvanias. What's worse is that you can't customize the controls, so it can be pretty frustrating until you get used to them.

This game was one of the biggest disappointments ever. I preordered it almost a year ago, finally get it, and within seconds of playing I realized it was terrible. The controls are so bad that they make it virtually unplayable. Who JUMPS with the right trigger?! And you can't remap the buttons!
