Hey everyone.
In this video I talk about the regressive, hypocritical, contradictory, and discriminatory nature of far-left policies within our society and especially their destructiveness in the Gaming and Film/TV-Show Industry.
I try to go over it in detail, bringing up examples of where it's negatively impacting society and Entertainment Media, through radicalizing people, putting unhinged clowns in charge, and using the wide-reaching arms of the press and cancel culture to manipulate 'the message' and shut down discourse.
I also couldn't help myself and ended up ranting about Sweet Baby Inc.

This is such a well-put video. Fantastic job! (And great editing, too!) Got my husband and I discussing a whole lot about what we have been seeing in media lately, and we feel you really nailed it down when you mention it's solely a narcissistic problem to have such an EXTREME need to be represented in a game to that degree. This reminds me of Upper Echelon's study on the matter of diversity in company settings. The study concluded: "It's not 'the more diverse the company, the more successful the company,' but instead, it's 'the more successful the company, the more diverse the company.'" In other words, diversity doesn't make good products; rather, good products allows for greater diversity. Why? Because humanity in general like cool things and we will flock to cool things no matter who we are as individuals. And would you look at that? That creates unity.

Thank you! Glad you liked it. :) I agree, we can see examples in some of the biggest shows and games that were so good that they had maaaassive & diverse audiences. Like Game of Thrones, it felt like everyone was watching it, and it wasn't even on a streaming service. We really were all tuning in to watch the newest episode and flocking to social media to talk about it. Fear of spoilers was a massive thing every time a new season dropped. We create far stronger bonds when we are bonding through things that we love, that we relate to, that we are passionate about, etc. than by focusing on the things that make us different from eachother. And then, worse, creating a "hierarchy" based on our supposed inherent "priviledges" and "values", that come with those differences from our gender, race, religion, disabilities, illnesses, etc. It's so unhealthy. It completely kills that "spark of humanity" that we get when our eyes light up as we are speaking to someone and finding commonalities. You don't make friends from this kind of mindset. Only followers.

they also do this with male characters. Dante from the last series looked "so realistic" he looks like some trailer park hillbilly druggie. Eastern devs shouldnt bow to the political agenda of the west...but kudos for this video. it's time we speak out. So proud that gamers are rising up to this bs

There's some examples of changes like Dante and Nero being "westerized" into more "realistic" depictions of themselves (also Leon from RE2 Remake) but not in an ugly way. The female characters even in DMC5 for example looked good, and like 1 to 1 copies of their models. But yeah I'm concerned about this infecting the Eastern industry especially through Capcom, Enix and Bandai since they're so popular here.

thanks! I don't know quite what happened to this one, but it pretty much died on arrival xD, maybe it's because it was the first one I uploaded of this kind or something else but I may either do follow-ups that mention some of the stuff in here, or re-upload it with different name & tags in case I triggered some kind of "no-no word".

I think the actual underlying problems are toxic work culture, crunch culture, sexual harassment, unequal pay scale; exploitation of interns, low wages.l etc etc So instead of addressing these real issues which have real world impact, companies try to buff their image by hiring DEI consultancy firms. Maybe it’s cheaper and easier Than trying to correct long standing problems

Another big problem is that a big segment of society, well... Just doesn't tollerate any form of divergence from their values and ideas. Like just look how they behave in social media, interviews or even in real life, for them unleast you agree with them on EVERYTHING you can't call yourself a good person and incase you don't then you are objectively evil. And cause the entretainment industry has been plagued with this people, they have an urge to modify and twist everything they touch into fitting with their ideas and values, cause they are so deluded in their own self-righteousness that to them it ain't just their ideas is basic morality, so everything has to follow it.

Gamers when the majority of Steam is "Early Access", games released in an unfinished state, games released as buggy messes, microtransactions, lootboxes, DLCs, crunch, predatory design, gacha designs: "This game is literally GOTY and actually the greatest of all time! Stop being mean to my favourite multi billion dollar company, it's not that bad, you're just a hater :( " Gamers when non-sexy woman: "GAMING IS RUINED!"
@TheDezembro

@@Lilith_Xolaani That's not at all the point I made and it's also completely made up nonsense 😅 games don't get away with coming out unfinished, broken, caked in microtransactions, lootboxes, etc. This has never happened 🤣 Cyberpunk 2077 was the most anticipated game at its time, from a TRUSTED and BELOVED company. Your "gAmErS" still thrashed that shit. Game journalists and some RU-vidrs praised it, but the actual gaming audience was pissed for the broken state of the game, the terrible NPCs, the pop-in, the crashing, the hiding of the state of the game until release, the missing features, broken promises, etc..and CDPR's own BS excuses that it was only the consoles, while the PC version was broken as well, just broken at 60+fps lol So yeah, no. That's incompatible with reality and at no point in the video do I even talk about sexy women. 🤷‍♂️

@@TheDezembro Baldur's Gate (2023 GOTY) was in Early Access for half a decade, then full released with the last third completely unplayable and 1 year later it's still receiving patches to fix the mess, and it's the internet's baby and "the best evuh". Elden Rings (2022 GOTY) DLC was literally just an asset flip with normal enemies turned bosses and is "the best evuh". The base game was literally just "I pressed ctrl+c ctrl+v 100 times and called it a game". Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and Dragon Age Inquisition were complete messes, and borderline unplayable. Every game released by Capcom in the past decade has been littered with MTX. Don't even get me started on the consistent messes that come from Blizzard and Bethesda that are still "highly regarded" and "GOTY"s. And while I agree with the main premise of your video that on-the-nose tokenism is annoying and obvious, the reason "gaming is dying" isn't non-sexy woman (see Horizon, see Covenant), or "black person" (see Assassin's Creed), or "the wokes", but greedy companies selling us unfinished, half-baked games littered with predatory monetisation that people will consume and defend anyway.
@TheDezembro
@TheDezembro Месяц назад
@@Lilith_Xolaani I think these are just two separate and important issues. We've been battling unfinished, half-baked, monetization-ridden games for over a decade and will forever because that's just the game lol they push, we push back, they gain a bit of ground. Next time, they push again, we push back, but they gain a bit more ground, so on so forth. But this stuff at least is... SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE to complain about. You can go on EA's twitter page right now and call them a bunch of greedy pieces of sh*t and no one will bat an eye. But if you try and complain about Sweet Baby Inc or any other groups or departments pushing unhinged DEI-policies that negatively affect a game, you'll be seen "a certain way". You'll be labelled some weird white hetero alt-right mf even if you're neither of each of those things. And it has to stop. Right now that's what I made it about anyway, doesn't mean I disagree with what you said and don't have my own gripes with each and every single one of those things - I do, and I'm sure I'll target it in the future. But yeah no way that this isn't a serious issue. Especially because it's not even an "exclusive" issue, you can basically have a f*cked up half baked clone of another live service nothing sandwich, made with DEI-policies at the forefront of their thought, ending up with a game so terrible, that it gets taken offline after 2 weeks.

@@Lilith_Xolaani And I guess, since I'm replaying I'll just note a couple things I don't really see either tbh... -Early Access is not an inherently bad thing. Early Access scams are. There are many examples to pull from over the years that were always complained about by gamers. BG3 is not one of them, it's a triumpth. When you have a LOT of content that TOPS the bar, a few issues that are fixable are obviously tolerable. It's also a game FULLLL of diversity that wasn't made an issue of. This is yet another example that just goes to show that "tHe GaMeRs" aren't some hivemind unhinged toxic group and generally if a game is good, a game is good. There's room to wiggle even if it's not PERFECT on release, or if it made use of disliked means such as Early Access. And also that good characters in a good game are good characters in a good game even if they're "diverse". 😅 -Elden Ring, meh. At the end of the day I have my own gripes with some parts of the community that overly worship the games, they do tend to call it "the best evuh" and not accept any criticism even in the things that are obviously poorly designed or missing to enhance the experience... Regardless, it's still not an example of anything close to a bad game or a scam of any kind that people should've put their foot down and not support... The game is good, it's just not as amazing as all the hype generated by their worshippers. -I can't speak for Pokemon, but I can speak for Inquisition, it wasn't anything close to unplayable. Words matter and these words make a game sound broken, the game had its issues, it was the first noticeable instance of that "BIOWARE MAGIC" bullsht mentality that ended up crashing and burning Andromeda and Anthem, but hellll no. Not broken or even nearly unplayable, it was a relatively solid release for Bioware. -Capcom tends to get criticized for MTX albeit not as much as they should because it often entails stuff that can be bought in-game. I'm specifically talking about Dogma 2 or Resident Evil for example. If there's more egregious shit, I would condemn it too. But as far as these recent releases go, they actually do get criticized but since the quality of the games has been favorable, and in Dogma 2's case for example, the items are obtainable in-game, people don't grill them too hard. And I can't blame them for it. I don't think people should be so complacent because giving them an inch is what leads to them eventually trying to take a mile. -Blizzard and Bethesda also get constantly criticized õ_õ Diablo IV was mocked for being dead as soon as BG3 released and Starfield was made a mockery of at launch. People were comparing it to BG3 as well and calling the quality of their quest design and overall presentation totally outdated. It didn't grab any awards at all and it still gets memed on every now and then. ... In general, you really can't force-feed Gaming Communities shit that they don't like. They're very outspoken about the shit they don't like and don't want. The only way a company is able to get around that sometimes is by having a quality game to balance out the negatives. If a game is bad and is filled with untolerable shit then it won't be tolerated either.
