I am so tired of d e i and this inclusivity nonsense when it comes to my video games I mean my favorite game of all time is final fantasy 14 and sweet baby was all over their newest expansion among other things and it was just I've never seen the player count so low

Changing a company logo scares off critical people because they know exactly what kind of crowd it potentially attracts. So, logically, people avoid it. 3. Repression. Expressing an opposing opinion can lead to personal consequences that some people are unwilling to bear. One must not forget that a lot of money is pumped into this. The mindless masses of these people "are" this money. They are incapable of critical thinking. They cant weigh what makes a good or bad argument (because that would require thinking), nor do they want to know if theres any truth to it. They just want their mindless, pre-digested opinion confirmed and dont want to think. Still, they want more than just to be tolerated 😂

Why did Agatha All along promote itself as the gayest Marvel ever? Probably because the show was bad, and they found they had nothing else to say. Like - this show is so boring it's a cure for insomnia. Would that sell? Why was that? Probably because they put activists in charge of the production, as usual.
As a personal example, I have yet to buy Space Marine 2. Why? Because Games Workshop is full of cancer. Female custodes. Female space marines. The "you will not be missed" letter, and so on. Despite the insanely good reviews (and recommendations from friends) I am wary of pulling the trigger on a game that is from a company that ultimately hates me, hates what I like, hates itself, hates its own lore and the things it has created, and wants bad things to sweep it all away. While getting paid for the whole job lot. That's how much catering and pandering to things and people that insult your customers and hate your creations can affect someone. It took me almost two years to go back to Cyberpunk and play the expansion. These people who do this to their own brands and their own companies are in need of serious mental help.
The CC features are worrysome, the women look like men. I can deal with pronouns, but do they realize trans are a very small minority in comparison. Why do companies make all women ugly now

I'm so tired of all this. People talk like we're 30 years in the past. I'll tell you the truth, being a trans person in a third world country, things are pretty okay and calm for me. I don't want more rights or representation, things are fine are ok. I don't know why I would be proud to be trans. I was born with it. It's the same as being proud to be born with brown hair. I'm tired of crazy people and companies using LGBT+ as a shield or marketing and trying to force it more and more. It just makes things worse. I just wanted to let you know that there's no need for any of this. I don't want it No one I know wants it. I don't know who these people are trying to please. I hate to be the one to break it to you but the reason they push the stuff in education especially younger education is out of malice they know what they're doing is wrong and they're doing it anyway because they want to radicalize people either into their ideology or against them so they have a boogeyman to point to and cry victim over. I have difficulty keeping track of names but a lot of the whole gender theory sophists ( I refuse to dignify them with the moniker of philosopher) were very against the concept of childhood innocence and tyrants the world over learned that the youth make the best soldiers because they're impressionable, I could go further down the rabbit hole but I've digressed enough and beleive the point is sufficiently made.
The part I just cannot get over is that the game is already very spooky and we're in October, making it a Samhain themed stream would've been marketing gold but they seemed to almost intentionally sabotage themselves
I refuse to believe these companies are ignorant enough to believe that making content specifically for 1% of the population is the way to be successful. I honestly think they dont care if these things are profitable. There's definetly a lot going on behind the scenes that i can't comprehend.

AstralShift's response make it look like they approached Squeenix to promote it as Alphabetic, rather than Squeenix needing to meet their DEI quota. Little Goody Two Shoes came out November 7th 2023. That's right, last year. And Squeenix did nothing to promote it. All marketing material were done by AstralShift themselves. This situation really is them ending it themselves.
If that's the case that makes this situation even more laughable, as AstralShift is far too small to just be that stupidly abrasive in their marketing. Still, hard to believe they'd have as much power as to be able to push SE into hosting a Pride event in October 😂
@@TheDezembro I wouldn't say they "have power". More like Squeenix is looking for something DEI to promote, and AstralShift offered themselves on a silver platter. Hence the quick defensive response from them. If AstralShift were logical or didn't do any of this, I doubt they'd defend the Squeenix post.

Just a little note, Shadows isn't the first time we aren't getting an assassin from the country the game is taking place Revelations kept Ezzio insted of giving us a playable Turkish assassin, but back than I can see how the using Ezzio(and Altair) wasn't propaganda driven(I hope) given that it was a send off to the main protagonists and it was tied to brotherhood so it it was part of Ezzios trilogy Using a Yasuke is blatant pandering, they took 0 measures to make it feel or look like he belongs in that game
Ah yes, true! Given that it's a sequel trilogy I didn't really think of it. It's definitely not agenda/propaganda driven, just a protagonist having his last adventure in a new place. Technically Edward Kenway isn't "native" to the Bahamas either, but it's another case of a game in the middle of a trilogy following the Kenway family story, and with a heavy focus on the Pirates who were mostly ex-navy or ex-privateers not native to the New World either.

My man cooked Ubislop with FACTS. Ubisoft is far from the only one company going on this direction, it is rare to see a company in the AAA-gaming industry that didn't degrade in the past decade. No wonder why I buy less and less new releases and go back to my backlog or games from 6+ years ago that I never played. Good thing Korean and Chinese developers are mostly giving good games like the old days.

I think Veilguard killing off Bioware as a studio will be a huge step in the right direction. We saw it time and time again... these people do not play games, they only ruin them for others. So I think this game has no chance to be successful
prototype 2 was good inclusion too. many people didnt like the game (i personally loved it and am sad that there is no sequel) but the protagonist, more so the color of his skin, never was a problem. At that time i didnt even think about it. DEI made me see this crap everywhere now.
What peeves me the most is that all everyone did was complain about how boring Jin was or how stoic and uninteresting he is. Now all of a sudden, his game’s sequel has a new protagonist who is a woman and everyone suddenly misses him so much and he was a “fan favorite”. Like bs with that yall 😭. People didn’t appreciate him when they had him. Also, people barely know anything about Ghost of Yotei yet. Its so quick and assumptive to assume that this new protagonist is all the things theyre saying and more. No one knows what Erika’s performance will be like and she may end up being a “fan favorite” too. Everyone is so quick to judge.
