Demos In The Dark it’s the best pedal i own, and i have a lot of pedals. I found it, pre-eBay, for 5 dollars at a junk shop. Shop keeper didn’t know what it was, or if it even worked. It had no rear plate, just looked like a pile of wires. I took it home, rewired the battery terminal, and was treated to fuzz glory the likes I’ve never quite seen again. Years later i found a rear plate for it. That score makes up for all the times I’ve been hosed at music stores trading in stuff.

i don't have one to compare, so i'm not sure. sorry!

i did. for my taste, playing it with the lower gain settings was really great sounding. i wasn't such a huge fan of running up the octave in the higher gain range, but that's just my ears. i know people are into all kinds of different stuff.
