Don't join to pay bills, join because it is the absolute most resolute decision you have made over your life and as such you will be in charge over the very life of your countrymen. Join because you are a warrior.

Some people join military for job security, you don't need to cry because you have been denied chance to join military, look for something else to do. I was physically fit but the opportunity didn't avail itself despite trying severally

Just look the qualifications documents the rest is not necessary,still if you have the spirit to become a soldier,those things will come with time

I have tattoos so this automatically disqualifies me. I also have a huge scar on my left arm from (24 stitches) due to a childhood injury that required surgery, the arm healed ages ago and despite the long scar running down my elbow, my left arm never gives me any trouble whatsoever. I regularly hit the gym and I'm in good shape all year round. I have since relinquished my lifetime goal of becoming an army ranger but have never lost my warrior spirit. COD n Splinter Cell will have to do for now :-)

Missing teeth? Mhh Some kalanjin remove front lower teeth and they are many in the Defense force

Flimsy colonial requirements. I know the reason was that probably this are either violent or reckless individual who might have lost the tooth or teeth through fighting etc

Remember when l was on the line officer came to check whether my teeth are correct yet Hana yote walai ,,l ask myself ,,why weee huna meno yote yet u disqualify me in kdf
