Soooo do I just have to remember when I’m in glitched rag doll? Seems like unequipping a shield mid-shield-jump both puts you into and takes you out of glitched rag doll.
It doesnt take you out of ragdoll, its that the zone around link where the glitch is last activated can be a safe zone to still do a windbomb, if that makes sense
Do you have a tutorial on doing the shield clip? What does using the spear accomplish? How fast must you be be in the use Gl X A and D pad? How close do need to be to the wall you want to get thru? Do have to control how high you jump using the X key? I have looked a several RU-vid videos trying to explain this. The videos are very fast and to me hard to grasp. I have been able to get the clip, but it last for one wall only. I retry and have no luck accomplishing it again. Am I to slow in using the four keying buttons?
Thats a lot to unpack. But yes, i have made videos for each shrine clip on the great plateau. Check out my playlist or videos page for the 2022 botw speedrunning tutorials and go to the clip youre having trouble with. In each video description there is also a timestamp to take you to the part of the video where im specifically going into details on each setup. To answer some of this here though, you use the spear aiming to set link's facing position. This can also be done by aiming with the bow or looking with the scope feature. You typically want to be right up on the wall and when you do the forward shield jump generally speaking, link should NOT get up too high. Hope this makes sense and is helpful
@@TheZeldaEnthusiastThanks for the quick response. I am still a little confused. Many of the utube videos have you go to the Yah Rin Shrine to practice creating the clip. I go there and occasionally create the clip. I try it on a north wall. Once I get in I can not clip out.
