For that fact about how link hesitates in the first shrine. His animation is also slightly different for when he gets the first spirit orb. He looks kinda confused and concerned the first time
Yeah I've learned how to do that since posting this video after some similar comments, so the next video in this series wont have that problem. I thought it would be a huge photoshop project, but it's pretty easy
I just realized that, despite the spelling being a mistake, the could easily explain it away in universe by saying that molblins and moblins are two different creatures. The spelling change was made in ALttP, as was their appearance changing from dogs to pigs. Also, since bokoblins look more like molblins, maybe they are an evolved molblin?
Those light blessing scenes are frustratingly long, even when you skip. The combat training dialogue boxes piss me right off because they stay on the screen way too long considering you cannot skip them. The dialogue in general feels like such a chore to read or skip through, TOO MUCH TALKING while I'm just trying to complete a quick side quest.
Wow i had that melody in my head and cliced on this vid what a coincedence Edit i know you didnt say that there is one couler in ww there is brown and blue
The one thing I wish they would do with every game is put the starting cave from the very first Zelda in every game and then have like a little item in there like rupees, an NPC or two torches and a wooden sword.
One thing I noticed while playing TotK is that the torch the old man used to make his fire where you meet him is still there. It’s almost like he’s still trying to help by lending us a fire starter 😢
22:36 after watching this I checked and I have the expanded mural but I'm not sure what the requirements are. I have beaten the game, gotten all 5 sages, and completed all main quests so I am assuming that is what it is but I do not know for sure
I should have distinguished gerudo from hylian, but at the time of naking this video i just called them all "human-like" as opposed to rock, fish, or birds
I have a useless fact. If you're near the stable trotters and use recall, then cancel, the stable trotters move into a different position. This doesnt happen with nearby npcs.
I actually have screenshot proof that 2 times I went to terry town it was raining, like actual rain, like water falling out of the sky rain. I don’t know how to show you, but I actually did
Correction! Link’s awakening takes place in the real world of TLOZ buuuut SPOILER ALERT the island and all its inhabitants are only brought to reality by the sleeping Wind fish. So they are very much real in the way they can actually interact with the real world and they actually “exist” but they only exist as long as the wind fish is asleep
Pretty sure it's "skeema" stone. Like "schematics". And "hih-lay-en" is a strange way to say that. I've always been under the impression it's supposed to be said "h-eye-lee-en"
I like to think when the fire and ice lizalfos are out together, they are just vibing. Like, they are friends and its the one time where they can hang out, and when you come by one needs to get to work and the other one takes the cue to leave.
Ooh, I like that. I may change the name of the series to that, or Hyrulean Geographic, or something similar. This was the first entry of a new series of videos diving into the evolution of classic enemies and possibly locations
I booted up my ToTK save I made at launch, and I’ve actually got the rock-covered murals in my main menu screen! I have to imagine it’s triggered after completing all the main quests, but I could be wrong.
Thanks guys! Yeah some of the pngs were so tiny, i just figured it was bc the games they came from are so old, but anything i can do to make clearer images for future videos would be a gigantic improvement
@@TheTonyExpress I have some software I wrote to drag and drop, and resize pixel art for our community manager that I'd be happy to share, but you can basically just rescale the image up in paint or Photoshop, save it, and then drop it into the video software that way
You mentioned that the Legend of Zelda is the only game in the series where you can talk with friendly moblins. There's also the one who gives you the boomerang and Link's Awakening. Not trying to be that guy, just adding to the conversation.
@@michaelmann7816 That was my first thought but I looked it up and it looks like it was a moblin who gave Link the boomerang. Edit: although a lot of websites mark him as a moblin, it looks like the original official Nintendo player's guide for Link's Awakening confirms that the individual who gives link the boomerang is Goriya. I was too lazy to track down the PDF originally, but I'd say that's about as official as it gets. Good call.
I like how you kept calling the botw moblins a mix of dog and pig and I'm like... aardvarks. They look a lot like aardvarks lol. I'd be surprised if those lil critrers didnt influence their design even a little. (granted, aardvarks do look like a messed up dog/pig hybrid LOL)
