Out of all the great things in present day armwrestling, Denis' comeback is by far the most exciting to me. He's such a nice guy and such a paragon of strength. Can't wait to see him pull John and especially going at it with Devon again.
Seeing him back on the table is enough of happy for every armwrestling fan i believe. Good luck with your pull Denis! And I really hope you can still keep on pulling after this. Please don't stop whatever the outcome is.
After today he will announce his retirement from the beautiful sport of arm wrestling! Trust me! He is nowhere near ready to face anybody from the top 50 nevertheless top 10!
denis pretty talkative and informative with you as the interview. nice to hear some more details on the training/comeback-setbacks/nerves etc. really humanizes him. looking forward to a good match hopefully.

the easterners treat this like an Olympic discipline. They have coaches, training basements, and even tracksuits. It comes out of the weightlifting culture....these habits were formed then. Way before "strongman".

He is actually very nervous and you can tell that from the way he's sitting and acting! He is not even facing the man who's interviewing him! And he's nervously taping the table with his fingers! He knows he's gonna lose and that he stands no chance with Brzenk at the moment! And he is totally right! He just didn't want to say it directly so he said it sort of like a story about him not yet being at the right level or stage! And honestly I think if he loses this match as I am predicting,he is probably not gonna do anymore matches in the future! His body simply can't whitstand anymore straining and training and especially no more needles!
This might be the first time in the intire time ive been a fan of armwrestling ive ever wanted john to loose, i hope denis pulls this off an makes his comeback that he wants
@@Herofromspace2 Exactly, I don't want john to lose but I want Denis to win so bad and to see how far he can go. John is almost done, Dennis is "injured" but still "young" enough to keep going and getting much better.
never thought he would come back...ever. man, John is already talking about retiring again...or taking a longer break (which at his age...could be it), so this will be a great last pull for them both. legends.
I normaly dont sit threw stuff when i have to read subs but this was amazin video, i think denis will shock himself, john seems to think he will be a stronger armwrestler despite not havin all the raw power he once had due to tenden strenth exctra, seein denis come back to the sport when most never thought he could let alone would an now hes facin john, truely incrediable
I've watched them all; Denis is the only arm wrestler who wants to strictly arm wrestle. Arm against Arm. He prefers to test arm strengths without body leverage. At times, he has had to use Kings move and other tactics because pure arm strength can not compete against all angles. He is not ready for Levan right now, If John beats him - it will simply be because Denis is not ready and may never be again. You got to respect a man with hands like his. Good Grief.
You are on the right path with your observations! If he loses he is out of the game for sure and that is exactly what's going to happen! Brzenk will crush him and crush any bit of self-confidence he has left in him!
Levan and Denis never like to talk a lot - uncomfortable....They like spending time with cats, dogs, or training....too much talking is hard for them... They do it for us...but not like Americans who are born to talk, and be "cool" all the time.
I love John as a American myself, but I want to see Dennis beat him easily because that will make the future match between him and levan more interesting
Maybe the craziest thing of this video was seeing Coach Ray’s hand just disappear into Denis’s. Like couldn’t even hand shake Dennis just grabbed his hand
I have a question for him. If you ask him I would love it! How does he have the patience to wait 1.5 years? Doesn't he feel eager to be back in the top and take some risks? And how did he control the urge to come back when he was unhealthy. Because for a sportsman, sports is almost everything. And by no means he seems to get carried away by praises Devon or others have for him.
He will do this under one condition and one condition only! He needs to win today! But he will lose and I am 100% positive about that! 100%! He is already in the match with a losing mentality! And that tells you everything you need to know!
Denis is such a Legend! This is the Original LEVAN, I’m thinking in 1 Year from now he will be at his All Time Peak and he will have a match with LEVAN 😊

Love John and Dennis. Being from the states here, I’m always going to pull for John. But I’m afraid Dennis is going to blow thru him. That said, it will be ok if he does. It will give us hope for a future Dennis levan match . Which I will 100 be behind Dennis if he gets back to 100 percent

Could you not have the subtitles one to 3 words at a time? Instead, just have the entire phrase written out. Distracting to have to wait for words, but at the end have to make sure I catch the last bit at a fraction of a second.
Брзенку проще переносить жару. Он с 40-й параллели, а Денис с 55-й. А на нашем континенте 40-я параллель это даже не Ялта или Сочи, это Турция, Армения, Азербайджан, Узбекистан, Туркменистан.
Какое то время назад подумал про то, почему Денис так сильно заранее уехал за границу "готовиться". Понятно, что акклиматизация и минимизация рисков с непогодой, не вылетом по разным причинам. Но все же в голове была мысль, что он знает что то больше ибо является депутатом и мог В.В. объявить кой чего в 20-х числах февраля. Но видимо никто не знал объявит\ или нет, поэтому Денис и уехал на всякий случай
