Devon is a true champion and MASTER arm wrestler...the technigue, mental angle and strategy is just next level and that is when Devon is at the top level already.

This lesson for Georgi will make him amazing in 5 years if he keeps training. He definitely needs more cardio or drop 20 lbs. To much pressure around the lungs under high stress from physical exertion destroys your air supply.

The production of this match is amazing! The director (Devon), the camera angles, the sound, the action, the trash talk, the judges, the commentators, the banter, the sportsmanship, the athletism - everything is so good and makes this a enjoyable watch. I don’t think there are anything like it anywhere. I love this!

Levon is very strong but I do appreciate having a champion who actually arm wrestles. This once a year or once every 2 years business it's very satisfying. Levons overall power is not in question but his greatness is.

Some matches Devon goes into a Press right away. Sometimes he switches to it later on because it's fresh. Very skilled. Lot of experience to know when to use it.

Devon comfortably won this match, when he faces Levan next year i believe the results will differ significantly since they last fought. Maybe he won't win but i think he'll give Levan a very hard fight and will probably pin him.
Devon Larrat has one problem: He entered a age where the nerves connecting to the muscles start to degenerate (Starts anywhere between the age of 47 and 50). Which each passing year, it will be more difficult and more unlikely to keep his top condition and against Levan, he needs abolsutely everything.

I agree, it's his inner warrior coming out, I feel like he needs always to have an "enemy" to direct his energy to, or he goes into a depressed state. Hardcore fighters like UFC Alex volkanovski has admitted to going into depression if not having a war to look forward to training for. This is exactly like Devons spirit, if he beats levan then I think he will relish it very shortly and become bored with being on top, ppl like Devon needs adversity to feel alive or they get too much in their own heads
Devon held him easily, controlling the middle point the entire match. If he gets more raw arm strength from this level, he will be able to defeat levan giving the right circumstances. Btw Georgi would be a great sparring partner for Devon preparing for levan. Roughly the same wrist strength, only lacking the back and side pressure.

I have a sweet spot in my heart for Devon, i love his charisma even though he’s a bit much sometimes during important matches. I didn’t know Georgi though, and i love his way lf dealing with Devon’s intensity. Round 5 strapping up you get to see a soft human being in this big Bulgarian man. He looks like such a nice guy. Big props to both these fighters for being good sports, deep down
A lot of DL is almost akin to wrestling. It's really fun to watch and his theatrics are hilarious. There's a vid where he jokingly tried to fight another arm wrestler and literally starts climbing over the table. Dude is good at his sport and he has the mindset to make it extremely fun to watch.

Yeah the Levan beat down did something to Devon. I thought no way he beats ermes, then he does easily. Thought no way he beats Denis, then does it easily. Levan woke up the best in him. His endurance is even on another level. Can't wait til they match up.
