@@jinfu3222are Devon fams or any fans different? Injury against Levan? Cheated on against Genadi? Excuses are like assholes, everyone has one. Similar to opinions. The truth is, the best man on the night wins and that counts foe all matches
@@Bigramt agree what you said. I'm both fans devon and denis. Win or lose is normal. Even devon accepted he loses to genadi and levan. Either with denis. But some people maybe had different opinions
Denis, the epitome of a true professional and a humble human-being. People should watch more of Denis and learn how to appreciate the values he has, because the world definately needs more people like Denis.
John Brzenk is the same. John is humble nature, he always downplays himself. The man has never boasts nor brags how good he is. He's all humble and class.
Indeed. I have to root for larratt because I’m Canadian, but I can’t stand his circus and disrespectful thrash talk. Larratt is like a bully teenager in a man’s body.
a true king is humble, a true king knows how to accept reality as it is, so he can navigate towards the best course of action that will enable him to evolve to greater heights than before A fake king refuses to acknowledge reality and lives in his own mind@@Advi666
Not one excuse, nothing but praise and understanding of Devons' form and where he needs to improve. Denis is an all time great for a reason and Engin was absolutely correct, the sport is better with Denis in it.
This is how an Athlete should be No excuse, no drama he just accepted his loss and now focusing on what went wrong and how he can improve I hope this defeat will bring fire in him and he will come back stronger
We NEED more Denis competing regularly at this level. Even if he loses some, he's shaking off 'ring rust', learning the new levels, and leveling up himself. Nothing replaces competition table time. He's 20 years younger than John, man's got all the time in the world! 💪
Really happy Denis is back. He showed well for coming back from so much and to still be on that level is amazing. Hope he continues and God Bless him and his family.
Keep getting stronger and have some fun Denis, now you're back in the game. It makes this sport more interesting, when your name is also on the card. Everybody wants to pull against Cyplenkov.
It was great seeing Denis happy when Engin told him armwrestling is better with him involved, we're really fortunate to have this, people don't know what they're missing
He is not that old. He can pull at least 15 years more. Picking top 5 armwrestlers for comeback matches is not easy. Glad he didnt overtrain and hopefully he will continue with good health.
Dadikyan could train a lot among these practise pulls with denis And now its maybe time that denis takes a look on dadikyans explosivness and tries to go through it. He has almost the perfect partner to train so
It isn't biggest factor about how old he is. He faced a more serious health issue than other athletes, so he'd had more difficult time to come back than others, even he's younger than them in age. Is there any top 5-10 pullers who come back from ruptured blood vessels of kidneys or similar issue?
good interview with Denis. He has a mindset of a great champion. Learn. Train. Get better and compete again. All the best Denis and come back stronger!
@@arielaltairchThe Devon that went against Prudnik was still recovering from the injury he suffered when he faced Levan, I’d say he had to be quite a bit weaker than now.
Denis will now come to a level we have never seen before. Even better then the 2013-2018 version of him. Denis, this is just a small bump on a long road, i know we will see you raise once again. #1
True sportsman and gentleman. He will be back even stronger. It was a blessing to get this tough fight, to truly get an idea of where his level is and where he could improve more.
The thing is - he cant't, because of his health issues. He must train carefully, methodically and rest more, since his recovery is slower, than it was before ilness.
Denis doesn t have to give up, I knew Devon was gonna win 3-0 but that doesn t mean Denis is weak, Devon has showed how you can actually improve even at 48, Denis is even younger and he has the potential to reach his prime level even without being that muscolar
@@SubjectiveFunny lol, I said it under 200 videos at least. Just watch a few video scroll the comments and find that. You re the ridicolous one if you thought Denis had a chance without having proved anything
@@lorenzobellistri8839 I am not disputing any of that, just that you are so arrogant you feel you know the outcome of something before it happens. Usually thats a sign of either idiocy or narcissism. You pick. Have a great day!
Denis, who is not yet 100% compared to his prime, faced the strongest version of Devon and still managed to stop and hold him even better than Ermes did. That's pretty darn impressive in my book. I'd say he's probably already in the top 5 or 6 at the moment.
Exactly! Devon had nothing on Denis in static strength...He knew if he tried to hook him or toproll him he would get stopped...So he tactically tore his wrist open and out endured him...While Ermes really didn't even manage to hold Devon so effectively.
People always like to mention this "100% prime" from Denis. Did everyone forget what happened after this so called peak? The man was sent to the hospital from which he took years to recover, and it could have gotten a lot worse. Other people are not willing to take it that far, and it's probably the same for Denis now. So maybe stop this nonsense "he's not 100% prime form yet" talk, as if it's something that's easily attainable, and it's just a matter of time or whatever. I respect him and the sacrifice he was willing to make to get to that point/peak (even if he did or didn't realize what he was actually doing to himself), but let's stop these fanboy-like ignorant comments as if this is just a videogame, and it's all just so easy and guaranteed. That and pretending you've all felt Denis yourselves when he was at his prime, and you obviously know so well if it would or wouldn't be enough to beat X athlete. We have these matches exactly because no one really knows the result, including themselves.
Denis only ruptured his renal artery from overexertion during a leg workout. That's why he only focuses armwrestling now and skipping legs. @@Matsuda26B
People dismissed that the mind games had any effect, but Denis admits they did here, despite what he tried to project. Devon’s attacks were sharp and deeply personal, and very few can ignore that type of thing. Levan only did it by going radio silent and not engaging at all, which was terrible from a promotional perspective. Genadi is so far the one guy I can think of who handled the mind games really effectively.
And I really admire Denis for that, he admitted all his weaknesses and shortcomings even the ones the weren't obvious and that you would not be able to tell were there and he didn't let it out.
Also, what you said is true, the only competitor that didn't seem to be bothered by the mind games at all was Genadi, he is a madman, lol. That makes me admire his victory over Devon even more

I am a Bangladeshi fan of Denis Cyplenkov! I love Dennis the person more than Dennis the arm wrestler. There is a lot to learn from him. I have rarely seen such a good minded person like him. I want to meet him at least once in my life.
It's great to see Denis pulling again, his choosing to face such an active high-level competitor after returning to the table is a great idea to see what areas need to be worked on. Hopes to see the two matching again in the future. All the respect.
Honestly it was closer than people think. Dennis had a very strong static defense position. Devon was able to expose this with non stop dynamic attacks. Dennis bicep is still very difficult to get through but he obviously needed more cup/rise and pronation
exactly, people don't understand how strong Dennis was to stop all those hits that devon was doing. He took devon some time to actually get the pin. it was all Dennis biceps but he needs way more side pressure instead of relying on biceps and back pressure
Don't be delusional. This was definitely not close. The only thing he could do is barely stop him in 1 position. That was at least a 70/30 Devon domination
it wasnt close really, denis would not be able to pin devon, but it was closer then people say, devon could not pin denis straight away except round 2, he had to attack and attack and attack@@TopHook96
Denis fought well. Gained Experience against the highest level and will bounce back even stronger. Hes smart and will work on his weaknesses. Iam pretty sure of that.
so glad Denis has nothing in mind to stop anytime soon! I think after losing he will learn a lot from that not that he doesn't know a lot already I just think he's going to get pretty strong in those spots now.
A real gentleman, a humble giant, a cute ogre. Im so sad for his loss. Hope he trains well with Laletin and İvan and puts even more muscle before he comes back again.
he doesn't move well cause his left hip is injured, he said in the press conference he will meet with doctor/surgeon in next couple months @@chris4814b
It was smart of him to pull such a high caliber so early. Now he knows where the mountain top is, and the possible climbing route to get there. Before he was climbing again blind. He might not have all the time in the world to be in the sport again so it's crucial he uses his time wisely.
Wow! I really like Denis very humble. This sport needs his character it’s much better with him, I hope he sticks around. I am a fan. Respect from 🇨🇦💪🏼 I don’t think he was that far off from Devon. Perhaps we will see them fight again. Hopefully next time is just a arm fight not a fight.
Just like Ermes after he lost to Devon, or just like Devon after he lost to Genadi, you don't make excuses, because the excuses don't make you better. You take away from it an area you need to improve upon and get to work.
