@@scottwarren4998 Denis was basically depleted after an exhausting match with Pushkar. That's why his arms are so swole. Too much lactic acid at this point. If you take a look at how Lilev won the 5th round you'll see Denis basically pinned himself when he was in a relatively good position. If the refs did their job and tapped michael todd on the back, like how they tapped Cyplenkov on his back for being too low in a losing position. Nobody would even know todd's name.
Everyone would know him and he would still be a champion. I hate him, he gets away with too much bullshit, but the reality is that he has an incredibly strong arm and hand. He is always within the rules, because there are holes in the rules. He simply found a way to abuse them.
She definitely has a thing for him lol, whenever she referees one of his matches she seems to touch him and look at him as much as possible, it's not just this match.
Andrew Duong thanks a lot it always confused me this one but i think the rules should be the same all over the world coz if this is true basically michael todd can't even play outside USA coz he is nothing without his joint lock technique but really strong when does it coz it isn't easy to beat chaffee.
Nidhish Vyas True it should be uniform all over the world. But some people say using your body weight should be illegal even though that is a fundamental part of arm wrestling. So if they were uniform, they have to be sensible rules that everyone can agree to otherwise no one would agree
Andrew Duong people complaining about using the body weight is not correct clearly don't understand arm wrestling as relying just on side pressure and not having enough training with it will easily snap anyone's arm no matter if pro or amatuer, i think the true lesson for such people is if they snap their arms once then they might stop bitching about it :P

тут посев был такой по группам, что Ципленкова выдали до финала. С этого Ципленков больше на таких турнирах участвовать неибудет. Все было сделано для победы Лилиева, хотя и не разу не приуменьшаю его заслуги, он очень достойный арм!

newsflash - most top athletes use steroids, and the ones passing the tests are either beating them or using what's called a 'designer steroid' to beat the tests. Historically you can look up the 'Balco' scandal for history about designer steroids. Arm Wrestling is usually unregulated in America or elsewhere, so yes anabolics will help you to win and recover especially a sport like arm wrestling where you pull all day. Different steroids do different things, not just bulk up and get you cut.
this match is from 2010 denis is much stronger now, i think he was also stronger than liliev here but his wrist was much weaker and thats why he failed..
Why the hell refree tapped on the back of CYPLENKOV..this angle video i have seen for the 1 st time, that in my opinion broke the composure of Denis ,although this had been a great match .Denis is a different human being all together even after applying so much pressure his facial expression doesn't change much and he stays calm ,what a demeanor and what a gentle human being he is ,even after staying in this agressive sport for more than a decade ..true legend of arm wrestling and with left arm he is is absolute THANOS

Arsen was a beast back then and had one of the best hits in the world. Dennis did just enough to stop it but took much energy off him...so lost later. Very nice fight indeed
This was before Denis hit his Invincible form in 2018. Also, shame he didn't have the brains to not stay so open for so long! Had he closed his body he would've easily won!

Man,that guy is FAST!!! Just started watching armwrestling not to long ago.I totally dig it!!! Sucks to see that it's going down the steroid crapper like so many other sports in this world though! Ya don't even need to watch sports to spot the roids lol.
There's no secret to it, Denis openly admits in loads of interviews to using steroids. He already had a growth anomaly so it just enhanced his already superhuman frame.
Using your body weight is proper technique. Although it is called arm wrestling, for years and years, arm wrestlers have, professionally, used their bodies to aid in pinning an opponent. Injuries are much more likely to occur if you use just arm strength alone.
