+pabnaful his starts are legit its the elbow off the back of the pad which is not legal. It doesn't take away how unbelievably amazing he is. I mean no one flashes john like that... he didn't complain he just said fair play. I do believe that if arsen wasn't allowed to get away with elbow fouling every time he got into a bad position that john would have won this 4 2. Also john was quite injured going into this and it got worse in the match.

at .48 the rubber meets the road where they both acknowledge each other that they are ready to floor it for victory, at .55 John flattens Arsen, brutal. Arsen is a monster so for Brzenk to have that kind of horsepower to drop him is insane.
the slowmo of the first match showed a clear false start by liliev, and there are 2 more clear false starts from liliev, combined with massive elbow fouls, this was a clear clear win for brzenk...
Engin is one of the greatest armwrestlers ever, but a piss poor ref. Omg. I can't begin to count the number of things Liliev was allowed to get away with here
Brzenk was injured when he went against Voevoda, and they only had one round. No one wins every time. Check out all of his matches. He mostly holds some of the strongest guys easily.
John has since admitted that vevoda was toying with him in a practice pull around that same time. John said he was helpless and could do nothing against alexey. I’m a huge John fan, but man said it himself
This was ONE heck of a match off... (Brzenk never has to work that hard...) plus... Liliev is MUCH younger... and has that advantage... I wounder if he'll still be wrestling the top dogs when he's Brzenk age...??? HOPE so! All that said... This video was a lot of fun to watch... HATS OFF to both guys!
@Georgian909 I filmed this material and I have been very clear with the fact that I had a problem with my camera which made the audio and video unsynched. It was NOT false starts in all 6 rounds! You can see the proof of that in the clips on World of Armwrestling. / Charlie

@@scottwarren4998 if he does that he would actually loose because you are weaker without using ground in your advantage. Thats why some pullers like Richard Lupkes propose to workout legs as well to become stronger in armrestling

Brzenk did an excellent job to even win any of these matches. He was starting from a significant disadvantage every single time with the early starts. I defy any single person watching this video to look at each of these starts and tell me Liliev isn't moving before the refs let their hands off and officially start the match.

For all of you saying that Arsen is starting early, no, he is not. There is a sound delay, just watch and listen at 01:05 when Arsen is hitting the table, if you dont see/hear it just watch at 0.5 speed. The sound is late.

This is so completely backwards. If you watch the match back, but this time you imagine that the rules are that Arsen can go whenever he wants, and the ref has to say 'Go!' as soon as he notices Arsen starts, it would make sense. Think there was one round there where he actually started on time, and he ended up elbow fouling, giving John the win.
+Johan Emil Finsson is fair in the rules. But u never see John go what that far. John is about as straight up fair as you can get in this game. some will win at any costs, some will win with honor.
Brzenk at this match is almost in retirement. Imposible to compare the new young guy, he is strong... just that. Brzenk won many titles against real monster bigget than him.... many times.... So this was good challenge for the guy. Nthing to probe.

Michal Bilek Cyplenkovs match with pushkar (before he faced arsen) made him extremely tired and weak thats why he lost. Arsen lost in 1 second every round in the cyplenkov rematch..... arsen liliev is no joke hes very good but compared to cyplenkov HE REALLY IS A JOKE
