Rommedahl can/could run a 100 meters in 10.20 seconds. That's how he was able to stand on the line to put the goal in on the counter. This anti Rommedahl is getting ridiculous.
the best thing about English football - is the atmosphere at their stadiums. Absolutely fantastic support from the fans! As to the play itself, England has always been a "hard to beat team, that's all...nothing more...
Yes, and actually it even has lots of similarities with English - loads of basic words ( nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, prepositions...) are very similar or just slightly distorted - even if you folks typically can't hear it on the fly 😉 - , so it often feels as if we alread know a crude basic (older) "English" in advance and just need to fill in the gaps when learning English. D Skal vi [ve] gå [go] ud igen [ee-gain] nu [noo]? E Shall we go out again now? D Han vil komme over til dem efter os [us], så [so] du kan finde ham der. E He will come over to them after us, so you (thou) can find him there. And so on and on and on 😁
@snapypowerup Here are a few of several thesaurus and dictionary definitions on " norse " ; 1) Old Norse or Danish tongue is the Germanic language once spoken by the inhabitants of the Nordic countries (for instance during the Viking Age). 2) Of or relating to medieval Scandinavia or its peoples, languages, or cultures 3) adj Norse means belonging or relating to Scandinavian countries in medieval times.4) Norse is the language that was spoken in Scandinavian countries in medieval times.
@Fuzkerendude Yes, they wouldn't have much of a langauge without us. Early Middle English is very much a fusion between Anglo-Saxon/ Old English & Norse (Old Danish) - 2 languages that were already closely related before they merged. Shave off all the Latin, Greek & French stuff from E., and you are left with a very Germanic language with lots of similarities with D (+ Sw + Nor) in basic vocab. The very complex grammar of Old English (a la German & Icelandic) was also dropped in this process.
@iPodGuyDK Unless you failed maths, 4-1 obviously ;D I meant that THIS England is much different to the England NOW :) Re-reading my initial comment though I did appear to sound an ass, all I meant was how we've improved :)
Lol. For your information, since you can't read, I never said he/they never won anything WORTH winning. I said they never won a trophy that says they are the best players in history, that's a pretty huge difference bro. None of them has ever recieved "Worlds Best Player" award.
@BennyDACHO Googlet danish cookies.
It's a little bit surprising for me that in danish language "ROMMEDAHL" is spelled "ROMMEDÄHL" for example. I've never heard this way of pronounciation before.
4-2 was also a friendly match. However 3-2 in Portugal was quite lucky and maybe it wasn't deserved if you judge it out of chances and possession of the ball
@plaid4u Err., better players? Where do you see those? England looked very confused and bad for most of that 1-2 match. Ours are better technically and tactically - yours are in a better shape, because you don't have a mid season break.
@mads7149 Does Afghanistan and Libya etc. mean anything to you? Unlike Sweden and Norway who are on holiday up North in Afgh,, we are where it matters - alongside England and the US.
@MrDKFreaken oh,I know it was played in Denmark - did I ever say otherwise?.. I just said that typically the atmosphere at the stadiums in England is very exciting, but that in no way means that nowhere else you can find such environment. As to the "disappointment" - I'm not a fan of England's team at all. What made you think so? So my retrospective congrats to Denmark for this win!!!
@McSuperfly101 well...if u knw the scores then wts need to ask ;) england might have won this friendly but the danes scored the first goal against them :D
@samluke8121 What ?!?! You have lost several times to DK in recent years - you are NOT any better than we are. Our players are usually more skilled and have a better tactical understanding. With our new promissing team under construction, we would probably win 3 out of 4 times or so. England usually plays without any tactics - or rather it appears that way. Confused players running around like headless chickens, not knowing their places and tasks.
Why can all for you not just accept, that denmark won... Im from denmark and im think they are best, like in another commen that says: 1966! Have England won the Euro Cup? No - never! Have Denmark? Yes!
