Free agent Dennis Schröder might be realizing that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. After declining an 84 million dollar extension from the Los Angeles Lakers in March, Schröder has agreed to play for the Boston Celtics for the 5.9 million mid-level exception. If Dennis couldn't take back seat to LeBron of all people and make it work, it should worry other teams about how much of a team guy he is. Oladipo fumbled an even bigger bag this season & summer - he was offered a 4 year, $112 million by the pacers and rejected it, got traded to Houston who offered him a 2 year, $45.2 million contract extension which he rejected, got traded to Miami, got injured, and now he's wound up on a 1yr Vet Minimum deal. But Schroder's is still worse because the Celtic's don't even have his bird rights so if he balls out this season and they don't have cap space he can't get a big salary increase with the C's, he's going to have to go fishing on the open market again.

Really good point on Oladipo ! Not everyone can be Dak Prescott and get record breaking contracts worth 100s of millions despite being badly injured and not winning anything significant (and he's not even thought of as being a top 8 player in his position). The moral of the story is if someone offers you $112 million or $84 million, take it and kick yourself later for not getting $125m or $100m you'll just have to live with that as you abseil down a mountain of the cash you do actually possess !

Not Lebrons fault for Schroeder being dumb but it was Lebrons fault for losing to the Suns. Man averaged 22ppg with no defemse in 45% from field and the majority of his points were scored on deep deep garbage time in games 4,5 and 6. Suns had an injured Cp3 Averaging 8 ppg and no defense on 37% shooting. Lebron did not deliver. Thats his fault. He choked. Gagged that one. Got outplayed by Crowder.
