@@JoSujRa I agree it wasn't disgusting but I do agree it was a stupid storyline. It would have been better if their was no Sharon and Dennis storyline and for den and Dennis to build a proper father and son relationship instead of hating eachother.

Sharon and Dennis had amazing chemistry to start off with and then went on to have one of the greatest love stories ever in the history of the show. Still so sad about how it ended. Den was never interested in forming a relationship with his son. He was manipulative and evil and proved that when he groomed Zoe into sleeping with him in order for her to get pregnant and manipulate Dennis into staying with her. He would have ultimately let Dennis down and hurt him if they had formed a proper relationship, just like he hurt and let Sharon down time and time again.
Den wasn’t evil. Because of what Leslie Grantham did behind the scenes, the writers simply did their best to make Den as unlikeable as possible in his final months for the public to hate him. Den did see Dennis as his son and although it was difficult at times, Den and Dennis proved to be a great duo and would have continued to be great together if it wasn’t for selfish Sharon wanting to run off with her father’s son. Blood related or not, it’s odd that Sharon would find the son of the man she always saw as her dad sexually attractive in the first place as Dennis would have had the same looks and mannerisms of Den.
@@captain_morgan4462they didn’t know each other existed and didn’t grow up together and it was Dennis who first instigated things, not Sharon. You can’t help who you fall for. They were true soulmates.
