As a Denver fan, lately we've been notorious for getting older QBs and expecting a miracle. We got lucky with Payton everyone else has been a bust. Wilson will be no different (hopefully I'm wrong)

he was looking slow last 3 or 4 years in Seattle too. His magical reverse 360 spins and throws for TDs turned into huge sacks.

I think he's trying to say coach Peyton was trying to really see what he can still do. I have also notice that Stidham & DeNucci are also there. Both have started and performed well for stretches during the regular season. They may be battling for that QB1 spot & not just QB2\3. If your a Broncos fan, II suppose that is a good sign, the Coach isn't planning on letting Russ cook for to much longer if the meal continue to be garbage.

A starting QB shouldn’t have a lot of trouble with 3rd stringers and practice squad members. He shouldn’t be perfect but he shouldn’t embody the “like shooting fish in a barrel” figure of speech. Imagine when they scheme for him and prepare for him all week 😕😖

not really. Peyton wants to see what Russ can do. Best way to do it is Preseason. They're also doing the Opposite of what they did last season. I recall Russ didn't play any preseason last year and it was definitely bad.

I think Seahawk fans were tired of "holding their breath" each game for the past several years when Russell was still QB in Seattle. Unfortunately Russ didn't have the ability to "admit" he was making errors. I got so tired of hearing him speak "positive" verses "admitting he was struggling". But his play was better then russ regardless of how long they played I’m not totally sure why your laughing. Your starting qb played worse than most teams backups.
