Insane scoring from D Book & KD tonight. 20/25 for 47 from Book is crazy efficiency. You just hope they don't have to do that to win every time, I don't know if you can expect that level of scoring from the both of them every single night. If they can that will be remarkable, keen to see how this series continues. Also S/O to my Aussie guy Jock Landale, had some great minutes tonight

Denver just simply gets easier shots. Phoenix as 2 of the best difficult shot makers in the league, but it seems like Durant and Booker have to combine for 70+ to have a chance win and that's a tough to do in the next 3 out of 4 games.

Jokic is something else.. Murray played dump hero basketball down the stretch in the 4th quarter. I don't why he could not see that Porter had a very hot hand. It was frustrating to see him brick shots while Porter had a hot hand.

Booker was out of this world the entire game. Durant in the end hit all those midranges that were basically like layups to him. In the beginning of the 4th quarter when Jokić was off the court the Nuggets' offense looked clueless as if they don't know how to run the offense without Jokić. Several of the Nuggets' important shots in the 4th quarter were dancing on the rim only to not go in. With a little bit of luck Denver would have won this game. I am still optimistic for Jokić and his team to win the championship this year. Anyways, what a matchup. Suns vs Nuggets are a historic matchup, Booker and Durant vs Jokić and Murray and in general both of these teams are really good.

Personally, the Suns only won this game because Booker carried them until KD was scoring again. Well, that and KD got 14-16 ft this game. Mark my words, I enjoyed Jokić down the stretch, but the Nuggets would have won if he had begun hard driving by himself earlier between the third and fourth. Both Booker and Jokić went nuts, but those KD free throws really killed it.

I am starting to really respect Jokic's greatness. The dude is a pure baller. Boring and not flashy to a lot of people, which is also why some people don't understand his greatness, but INCREDIBLY effective at facilitating and getting buckets. He can bully himself through to the basket, he has an impeccable touch for a big man, he can shoot, he can pass; he can do anything. But man respect to Book as well. Dude is putting up mvp numbers. He is the golden boy, which is why a lot of people hate on him, but you gotta give respect where it is due. Best player in the playoffs by far. And Kd... dude is overrated. People think he is top 10 all time because he has the ideal basketball build and shooting, but in reality he just can't do it himself. He does not have that killer mentality. He needs other superstars to win a chip. How can you crumble at shooting when you are 7 feet and literally nobody can guard your shooting?

Tonight, I saw KD play with heart. He needs the mindset he had in okc to get passed this young nuggets team. Book is going to Book night in night out however DA has been almost absent as a big man. No aggression which is necessary to slow the joker machine because you cant stop him. Denver has too many pieces which makes it difficult for suns matchups on D. If CP comes back bring him off the bench to create a spark in the role players. One thing is for sure, the best team will take the series

In order to win by 7, KD and Booker had to drop 86pts combined and Denver shoot poorely in the 4th quarter. Suns have no chance to win the ring this season.

Everybody complaining about Ayton, but people forget he's being asked to get buckets and also to slow down 2 time MVP. How many players in the NBA can realistically do that? Not just vs Jokic, but also vs Joel or Giannis. You really need a different strategy.

So much pessimism in the comments, to the contrary of what a lot are saying: 1. KD hasn’t had a good shooting series, if he does that changes the outlook 2. Suns have found a much better rotation in the most recent game so that can get better as the games go on 3. CP3 is injured right now. If Phoenix can hold up for his return it can be great for them

Jock Landale needs some credit. Denver had taken the lead and when they brought Jock in the momentum changed. Brought Ayton back in and Denver made a push again. Then Jock was brought in again and finished off the game for the win.
