Yeah he needs to stop relying on carrier pidgeons to do the uploads for him. G-Man has done about 50 vids on the weekend’s fights and I’ve watched most of them cause Hatman has left us cold Turkey for ages!
May I remind how Wilder is the younger man. Wilder was nervous and afraid before the fight. This is not the mindset of a champion. Wilder never was conditioned to be a winner at the top level. Sheltered existence now coming back to bite him
Captain Jack Sparrow Legs has never hated Hearn, it was just a convenient excuse to duck Dillian and AJ. How can you hate a guy who tried to give you 120m ?
REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU (THINK).. "👉🏾IF THIS VERSION OF DEONTAY-WILDER WAS FIGHTING A TOUGH (JOURNEY-MAN) INSTEAD OF ZHANG.. "👉🏾HE MOST LIKELY WOULD HAVE ALSO BEEN (KNOCKED-OUT).. I MEAN, " I DON'T (THINK) 85% OF THE WORLD'S-POPULATION REALLY (UNDERSTAND) JUST HOW THE (HUMAN-MIND) ACTUALLY WORKS.. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO PRO-FIGHTERS...🤷🏾🥱💯✌🏾
too many excuses...Nobody was talking about how the 3rd fury fight affected wilder when wilder sparked out helenius, now wilder gets exposed and ya'll blame it on 3rd fury...FAct of the matter was that wilder was always a PBC protected hypejob who got exposed when he finally had to step up in competition. Did he lose the fire and hunger a bit? yes. But would he have beaten Zhilei zhang at any time? NOPe. Stylistically, zhang would probably beat him 9/10 times at any time. IF zhang fought Wilder years also instead of ortiz, zhang would have pulled off a huge upset.
Once a puncher like Wilder gets beaten up / KOed they get trigger nervous and are never the same. Wilders winning formula was always just swinging wild haymakers with the hope they land on his opponents chin. Definitely retirement time for this one trick pony.
This is what happens when you have been a spoon-fed journeymen your whole career, never had the learning fights before stepping up to genuine contenders, who did wilder actually beat ? No one of note
@@Anthony.Joshua-s_Irish_Grandma Wilder ducked a $100M contract fighting Joshua. Because his manager got him persuaded that it was a bad idea. Head shaking tbh
It took the better part of a decade but the truth is finally out for all to see Wilder and Fury have done so much damage to the heavyweight division that is only now being rectified Champions like Usyk and AJ were / are actually about fighting the best Fury wanted to con and manipulate his way into history and same with Wilder but mostly through his team rather than himself
Lol wilder n fury fought for one title so didn't hold up anything, secondly those three fights with the punishment they both took, especially wilder has finished him ,aged him n shot as a fighter ever since, fury has been on his way out ever since too . Both changed n aged . You can't continually take punishment like that n carry on like nothing happened. In fact fury showed the way to beat wilder, put him on his back foot and put him under pressure, exactly like Parker n zhang did except wider is already a spent force on top of that. Hate both all you want but the trilogy was great to watch
@@kingkongsson1 yes they did hold up the division, the trilogy was pointless and scuppered a much anticipated undisputed unification with AJ and Fury, and despite being a good set of fights, both men ran from undisputed as fast as they could tryna freeze AJ out, that is damaging for boxing
@@shayturnbull8402 froze out a.j .... he had his chance held the belts lost them to ruiz won it back then lost them to usyk where they held a REMATCH when if going by you're thinking there was no point as a.j got beaten decisively and proved it by getting beaten comfortably again . This was when wilder n fury were fighting themselves . You can have an opinion on who's ducking who but behind the scenes noone really knows the score as boxing is so corrupt which includes eddie hearn n frank Warren. A.j has had plenty of chances n probably get one again v ddd for the ibf . The first rematch of fury wilder was warranted after that stupid draw but it was wilder who went to court to get the third n final fight and won the right to do so, fury didn't want the third fight .
Anthony Joshua damaged boxing. He ducked Undisputed with Wilder, ducked Fury to fight Franklin and Helenius. He ran from his WBA mandatory Luis Ortiz and tried to avoid Usyk fight for 2 years. He fought 1 mandatory every 3 years for each Sanctioning body, fought old men and conned the public with his fake personality😂
@@kingkongsson1 of course I’d prefer that both rematches didn’t happen and rather just see Ruiz v Wilder / Usyk v Fury earlier, but the evidence is clear to see, Wilder turned down 100 million dollars directly from DAZN, that’s one of the biggest and most blatant ducks I’ve ever seen, and Fury was offered to fight AJ when he returned, and he dragged his heels in negotiations and fought absolute jokes of opponents. Bob Arum the actual lawyer would have known the arbitration would have been an issue yet they pretended it was fine. What I prioritise is seeing unidisputed. And by far the biggest factors stopping that has been Wilder and Fury. AJ unified 3 belts, that says it all
He was always overhyped, hes fought 3 top fighters,..... and lost to all of them!!.... enough said!!... Wilder and Fury are overhyped B side champions. Bad for the sport, and stopped AJ becoming UNDISPUTED. Fury is getting found out aswell. Good riddance.
Wilder is the most overrated boxer in history! I can’t believe credible people including Hatman thought at any point this guy could beat AJ. He had you all fooled at some point but I was consistent for the last 6 years that this guy was a hype job!
Not her fault Wilder was willing to be digged. Man had a wife who'd come out the mud with him and was loyal to him, and he chose to be dug coz he fell for the okeydoke rich black men always fall for; the nonblack woman who happens to become rich when she gets with them
Perfect summary and analyses of Deontay Wilders present situation Hatman. Thank you so much love your content, and I am very sad to see the downfall of Deontay Wilder
The difference between the Wilder now and the wilder that held the title is, Quality of opponent. He has fought 3 ring top 10 fighters and got exposed.
No, he's a lot older, slower, less energy, beat up, and mentally not the same fighter. Can you imagine this version of Wilder in the 3 fights against Fury? Maybe now promoters will stop jangling big purses in his face and he'll retire.
@@chrimony any ring top 10 would have done this to Wilder at any stage of his carrer. The most protected champion ever. His team only agreed to fight Fury because they thought he was finished. Fury said in the 1st fight with Wilder he was only about 30% fit.
@@michaelandrews6786 Are you saying Fury isn't a top 10 ring contender? Not only was Fury knocked down in the first fight, he was also knocked down in the other two fights. It was an exciting trilogy. Here, Wilder looked like a washed-up bum.
@@michaelandrews6786 Fury was also knocked down in the 2nd fight. The entire trilogy was exciting. And while Wilder clearly was outskilled, he always had the X factor of his right hand. Are you seriously claiming the Wilder performance in his three Fury fights was on par with his performance against Zhang?
It’s not working with Malik Scott, opponents have figured out how to take away the right hand, there is nothing else other than the right hand, and he’s only getting older. It’s time to retire. His biggest mistake continues to be taking these big fights without fighting a couple of tune ups. He should’ve followed the AJ strategy. Like him or hate him, respect to Eddie Hearn. He brought back AJ the right way and credit to AJ for doing things the smart way.
Also, Malik Scott sprinting over the Zhang’s corner after the KO to congratulate his boy before checking on Wilder to make sure he was OK WAS A TERRIBLE LOOK!!!!!
@@markmartin4484I think Wilder only has one way to box. His strengths are his strengths.... Malik Scott was trying to Teach him, How to improve on his weaknesses.... Which I just don't think he can do, especially this late in his career. Shouldn't have left his previous trainer, that's a fact This was always going to happen, only a matter of time but I don't think he's skilled enough.. He needs to Stick to what he knows. Jabs and right hooks
@@kcbrown8742what has Mark Breland proven to get this respect as a trainer. If Wilder was trained by Freddy Roach then everyone could say he shouldn't have left.
@@mattmannlvca@mattmannlvca he hasn't proven anything apart getting the best out of Wilder. He knew his strengths and weaknesses and stuck too them. I don't think he's a great trainer but he got the best out of Wilder, now Wilder looks nothing like the. Man he was
You are the only person that has articulated what I usually write in the comments about the effects of taking those two beatings from Tyson fury. He wasn't only knocked out he was beat up badly and dug as deep as he could. He's know a shell of a fighter.
Wilder never should have fired bryland!! That was his down fall! Malik Scott is a damn bum!! Wilder is a damn fool for taking Malik Scott on. A real shame.
The funny thing is, if Wilder fought someone like Whyte, Chisora, or Wallin, he probably would have taken them out. And people would be claiming he's back
Wilders team threw him to the wolves. No way he should of been matched up vs Parker and Zhang. It was a pure cash out. After the Helenius fight he should of been kept active vs medium level fighters like Charles Martin, Whyte, Yoka etc to bring his confidence back and re ignite that fighting spirit. Shame to see it end this way, I remember staying up to the early hours to watch Wilder fight because he was pure entertainment and excitement.
Deontay had the same look on his face that Audley had when he fought him back in 2013, bulging wide eyes, terrified of being hit, as irritating as Wilder has been over the years it was sad to see him go out like that.
Wilders necessity for yes men is what killed his career in my opinion. After the 2nd Fury fight, there was a chance to get an established coach who was going to give him real advice and technical schooling. Instead he went for his mate Malik who only reinforced Wilders delusions, and seemingly ignores the deficiencies Wilder always had - probably just to keep the paydays coming. Is what it is i guess lol
Wilder never had a great chin or very good skills defense, I was surprised he held onto the title for as long as he did, but when you look at the guys he fought maybe not.
There should be no firing of anyone in his team. He should just retire. He would need a long time to rebuild and he just doesn't have time at his age, especially with his technical limitations.
It's a sad end to a career that could have been legendary. Pride beat Deontay at the end of the day. He should have swallowed his pride and taken the DAZN money to fight AJ a few years ago.
@@peternagy-im4be Even avoided Dillian. Wilder and his management avoided any Top Competition. They all thought Fury was done, so they decided to choose Tyson.
His heart's not in it. He's more interested in his spiritual journey courtesy of ayahuasca. He may be in a better place because of it, but it ain't a place a fighter can be.
Wilder's right hand was EVERYTHING to him. It was what took him to the top, made him a champion, made him famous, and got him more money than he could've possibly imagined. It's fair to say his right hand was the only thing in this world he knew he could rely on beyond a shadow of a doubt and imo it was a huge part of his identity but When Fury got up after that crazy knockdown in their first fight that's when Wilder started to show doubt in that right hand. Suddenly for the 2nd Fury fight he came in at a career high which was peculiar to me for someone who was so adamant about his power being the ultimate X factor but nobody really noticed that maybe he gained weight because doubt had started to creep into his mind and he wasn't so sure of his most trusted physical attribute anymore. And the only way to get rid of that doubt was to knock Fury out but when he lost that fight u could really see how he spiraled into a state of madness. It was like the 5 stages of grief because for the first time his power failed him and his ego was shattered.💯 By the 3rd fight with Fury he was already a changed man who was desperately needing to knock Fury out to get any semblance of his former sense of self back but when he couldn't do it he completely lost faith in himself. Unfortunately, the Wilder we see now is a man without an identity, thats why u see him trying to box on the backfoot and being so tentative. The man who punched with bad intentions is not there anymore and there's absolutely no conviction in his punches anymore. 💯 With that said, Boxing is 75% mental and if a fighter suffers a psychological injury it could have noticeable effects on their performance. Seems like that is what happened in Wilder's case 💯 🥊
Wilder is some of the most wasted potential imo. Guy that weighs around 210+, fast with nuclear right hand. If he had actually focused on developing his skills with a legit coach and not depend on the right hand with a bunch of cheerleaders I genuinely he could’ve come out on top of this generation. Such a waste
Wilder tried to fight Anthony Joshua for Undisputed in 2018. If AJ hadn't ducked Wilder, he would have become Undisputed heavyweight champion. Fury knock out defeats destroyed Wilder's career
100% I said this pre-Parker fight... the energy was wayyy off - giving off old man vibes. I also believed the same about Fury for the past 2 years... he gives off this 'shellshock' look in interviews like he's trying to do an impression of his old self.
Yep the trilogy finished both off , more wilder than fury cuz wilder took so much damage and showed too much heart taking a pummelling but fury took too many big punches, it takes its toll .
Wilders downfall in a nutshell. He fought poor opposition for too long which gave him false confidence. He’s never been an elite boxer. When he finally stepped up to fight actual top ten opponents they made him pay for his terrible mistakes. Congratulations to him on his success but his team managed to convince people he was something he wasn’t.
Nice take. Zhang is a big, powerful, and SKILLED boxer. But it seems like the popular narrative in the aftermath of this fight is how Wilder is washed up. At least you gave Zhang his flowers.
Hearn should have put wilder in with a tomato can so he could sell the AJ fight at Wembley and have AJ take him out. Putting him in with zhang was dumb asf
Its funny when Wilder fans were claiming that after this fight he'll eventually fight AJ when Wilder had no interest in ever fighting AJ even when he was offered 100 million. Wasn't he more concerned in fighting Ngannou in MMA and Boxing than fighting AJ? He could have fought AJ instead of Zhang or Parker but now people know how overrated he always was. He's now lost to two fighters that AJ has beaten in the past. Fury will also get exposed by AJ, Zhang, Ruiz etc before he retires.
Hatman would decide to premier this when I'm snap bang in the middle of a 9 hour roadtrip, driving thru the middle of nowhere, with sus connection 😂. Looking forward to this tho
You can tell he wasn’t right. When he turned his back he told the ref 😅 he hit me. Must’ve been out of his feet or something. I feel for him hopefully he finds himself
