They also mostly ate whatever random food was convenient, and were mildly dehydrated much of the time. Which only starts to be a problem as you go into your 30's.
Hunter has taken away buatsi's natural killer instinct, He fights now like he's listening to instructions through ear plugs while he's fighting, Like his natural style kicks in then he suddenly remembers his instructions and holds back, I said from day 1 I thought it was a bad fit and I'm even more convinced now, Hunters style has worked with a couple of fighters, ward and khan but I've always believed he is overrated and not a very flexible coach
He is not trying to take away his natural instinct. Josh has a bad habit of going into exchanges when when he does not need to. He also does not have the best conditioning/stamina to be able to fight like that. He can't always fight the same way and expect to have the same results. What got him in trouble against Richards? Because he kept getting into unnecessary exchanges and not thinking. His jab was landing at will on richards and instead of out boxing him and breaking him down he tries to get into exchanges. You expect him to be a one dimensional fighter lol.
@@jtothej45 He has looked worse under hunter and he has taken away his killer instinct,Yes buatsi's defence needed fighting up but he had alot of good attributes that we haven't seen since hunter has been involved, Improving a fighter doesn't involve overcomplicating things and taking away there main attributes, You can't seriously tell me buatsi has looked better under hunter than he did before, He's been boring, scrapping through fighters and looking like he's going through the motions
I thoroughly disagree. Buatsi showed a surprisingly agile boxing IQ against the Polish contender, a good fighter himself...Recently, against Richards and Azeez, he showed an ability to make adjustments to come out on top in tough, nip and tuck type of fights.
@@Duel1982 He struggled against Richards and look how he performed recently,Azeez again looked very poor recently,Non of the took a beating from buatsi, What happened to that killer instinct, He stunk the place out in his last fight, I used to love watching his fights and now he's just happy to just get over the line, He still got caught several times by Richards even with hunter as his coach, When did buatsi last put in a performance under hunter where you thought wow that was impressive? Hunter is massively overrated, He's obsessed with morphing fighters into his style even if it clearly takes away there strengths and doesn't suit there attributes
@@MartinSmith-qt3cc Didn't say he was afraid. Most boxers ain't afraid to fight anyone. There scared what it means if they lose and the consequences of a loss for their career.
Think about it. Buatsi best win his Craig Richards and Hutchinsons style is all wrong for Buatsi I think he's getting stopped or dominated he lost that aggression
Even with Buatsi not having performed at his best recently, Buatsi isn't losing to Hutchinson. Buatsi is still fresh, still has another level of ability he can fight at, hasn't had many fights over recent years, no wars, he doesn't blow up and down in weight, and he always looks after himself between fights. I think this is a fight or 2 too early for Hutchinson, and I also think Buatsi won't sleep on Hutchinson and will show that he wants to keep busy now and will win by at least a majority decision, or by late stoppage..... I expect Hutchinson to be fighting on reserves if he makes it into the championship rounds.
This is when BOXING loses! I smell another red herring! I fear that we may be about to lose out on a fight we all wanted because one of the parties wasn't willing to force the issue. The fight that we want is BUATSI VS YARDE! Hutchinson could cause an upset here. I didn't expect him to beat Craig Richards but here we are.
