I wish I was born earlier sometimes. Born in 88. I would have lovvvved to seen depeche mode in the 1980's.

My fave song of theirs… that pulsating bass synth, all the counterpoint, vocal melodies, the arrangement is flawless.. that steady drum program but theirs that little break… total GENIUS!!! The individual parts sound simple but how they all fit together, intertwine, the way the weave in in out… I could listen to this song on repeat for hours and just be in the ZONE… the studio recording mix is killer and the synth solo at the end is BEYOND COOL… Beautiful… the lyrics are DEEP… ahead of its time..
