Not sure what your check looks like but for me, there are 3 lines on the back where it says "Please Endorse Here" so I just wrote that statement and signed my name there. Other people just wrote theirs in the middle and it worked apparently. Hopefully you didn't have to go in to deposit it

I've taken a picture of my check over 10 times in all different kinds of lights and background and it keeps saying the picture is too dark or blurry. Don't know what to do.

Same here. I use the same mobile phone tp deposit checks with other banks with no issue But capital one app doesn't work.. No matter what I do. Horrible app.

I took a dark navy blue towel and set it down. I laid my check on top of it and took photos of the front and back in sunlight. I only wrote 'for Capital One deposit' without the mobile part on the back under my endorsed name. As long as you get a green check mark after the photo takes your alright. It'll say retake photo for the front and back. Ignore that. That's only if you want to take the shot again. It took only 4 hours to clear deposit.

This app is rediculous. Apparently they have issues with checks used more than once. The Teller told me to write all that extra info in the space you sign, so not have to sign! So I said I already signed and then teller says it's ok, no matter how you do it the app will accept it and they will process it. So my preferred way would be to include both. The issue is that the Teller DID say that you should enter the extra text in the area that you sign.

Hi, how do I use my camera roll to select a check photo? I have a picture of front and back on my gallery but it’s not with me right now so I can’t take a picture through the app

I’ve taken pictures of the front and back of the check over and over and over. It keeps saying too dark and blurry. I called CS for help. They said take it to a branch. Sure, Skippy, I’ll spend 2 hours in the car to deposit a $25 check. How about I bank else where? Does that work for you? They don’t care.

Capital One has added a STUPID annoying new step. It says Write "for Capital One Mobile Deposit" Where on the check do we put that? You should have left a simple thing alone instead of adding more steps.

I tried depositing a check with capital one mobile app on an iPhone, android phone then on my Samsung tablet but none worked. Went to capital one Cafe as instructed by their customer service rep, but was told I cannot deposit a check with their ATM. Thinking of closing my account so I don't have to deal with their useless mobile app online deposit feature.

Why is there no option to deposit any check via camera? None of those icons show up on the screen. I ask the faq on depositing check and says unfortunately I cant help you with that account yet. Try asking another question

Deposit a check, no. If you're looking to make a payment on your credit card account, you can make a payment using a bank account. ^TB
