This isn't BTS or ARMY related. I'm sorry for the just bummer of a reality moment. These moments have consumed my life increasingly over the last six months to a year. I always think during them, I wish I could tell you I'm just really struggling in the worst ways. Today, it occurred to me, I can. So this is sort of a liveshot. For anyone disappointed in me or angry that I'm not picking myself back up well enough, I'm sorry. Depression isn't so cooperative. For anyone who has reached out to check on me, I see you. I feel you. I love you. Thank you. Thank you all for any time you've spent with me. I hope I can bounce back, like NOW. Shame and confusion and depression is really heavy... I really want to be free from it. I keep playing Chapter 2 songs, trying to absorb it all, and let myself bloom again. I love you. The future's gonna be ok. 💜 ApoBangpo Loves. ~ ashleysue

Been there sweetheart, right down in the depths. It's so hard. No one can understand unless they have been through it. Know that it isn't your fault and it WILL pass. And NO shame at all although I know your brain at the moment won't hear that. YOUR BRAIN IS LYING TO YOU AT THIS TIME. It's making you feel all the negative shit. You are loved. And you don't need fixing. Your brain won't hear any of this either but your eyes can read it. Remember it isn't you, it's your brain having a big ole foggy moment. Keep telling yourself this every day. Keep fighting because it will pass. The dark fog will lift again. It's a passing moment in your life, it isnt permanent. Im so proud of you for making this video when youre in the depths of a depressive episode. It's important and will help lots of people. You just did an amazing thing at the toughest of times! Amazing woman. x Sending lots of love and strength. You got this. Keep going, even if its just to wake up the next day and lay in bed :) THATS a big achievement right now. And it's enough. I’m going through a rough patch right now too. I’ve struggled with severe mental illness for over half my life now. Depression, agoraphobia, social phobia, adhd etc. It’s incredibly hard for me to function and I probably wouldn’t be able to on my own yet. As we both know, healing isn’t linear. We get better and we get worse with outside stressors. Or even for reasons we can’t understand. When I feel like this I just try my best to remember that this too shall pass. I’ll be better again. And I’ll have learned something new. Maybe a new way to cope going forward. Maybe a new perspective on how my mind works and how fickle it can be. Right now you’re not failing, you’re surviving. We don’t tell someone struggling with a serious prolonged physical illness that their best isn’t good enough. We can’t let ourselves do that to us. Even if it’s mental it can feel so out of your control that it’s like you’re not yourself. Like something else hijacked your brain and took over. You are having so much energy depleted just trying to hang on for the ride. It’s totally okay that you’re not able to put content out right now. It might be nigh impossible to love yourself right now, but try to give yourself grace. You’re doing the best you can with the cards you’ve been dealt. That’s not laziness or failure. It’s incredibly difficult. Especially when you’re in the thick of it like right now. Reach out to the people you love and trust. Tell them if you’re not doing well that day. Sometimes even that’s enough to take the edge off for me. To not feel so alone with it all. I hope putting this video out will feel relieving for you in that way. I’m glad you have a good therapist in your corner! That can be very helpful. You’re not alone and you’re loved! I’m wishing the best for you.💜

I just found your channel! please take your time. All I can say is I’ve been there and I’m still in that dark patch in my life. I haven't even started watching the video, but I feel for you deeply. Let me tell you, hang in there, Ashley, good things come to those who wait. Just take the time to really breathe, and eventually, all will fall into place. Depression feels like a heavy blanket under which you sweat and struggle and suffocate, but it's just that, a blanket. Because it's so hard to think and breathe under it, our minds tend to panic and fail to see that we need only be able to slither an arm out and lift it up a bit to get some fresh air. Hi, Ashley!! I've missed you so so so much. I always still do watched your video now and then. I’m new here but I have gotten to know your Canadian friend. I’ve been where you are over the past 30+ years. Remember that you’re struggling not because you have failed in any way or disappointed anyone, not even yourself. You are not lying to anyone, not even yourself. It’s your brain chemistry that is making you feel this way, that brain chemistry that fuels the depression and makes you feel unlovable or unworthy. Don’t be ashamed for something you have no control over. Your brain isn’t processing the Serotonin chemicals that you need to feel better. You have taken a step forward just by being honest about how you’re feeling and making this video. Talk to this good therapist that has helping you about medication that is available to help you cope with this temporary setback. Please know that it is temporary. This too shall pass but I know it’s very painful and difficult to see the light at the end of a long dark tunnel. Just remember that you are never alone in life or this community. Talking and making your videos will never be trouble. Even this took great courage, effort and honesty to be this vulnerable. Please ask your doctor about medication. There’s no shame in getting help and it doesn’t mean that it’s a lifelong commitment but maybe a temporary solution that you can’t do on your own. Please take good care of yourself. you are in my thoughts from time to time. b12 is really important, most people are low, it really affects mood. it even should be taken in the morning bc it gives an energy boost, if taken late it might affect ability to fall asleep. the best one if you can afford it is by Vimergy, liquid alcohol-free is best, and you want one that is a combination of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, very important. this is all per The Medical Medium. Try it i'm sure you'll see it makes a difference, and of course as you must already know, the importance of physical exercise, especially one that makes you go fast. walking is the best exercise but if you're trying to lift mood, speedwalking is best, etc. once i even worked out twice a day and shortly my world changed 180 degrees, a new world depression free

also, exercise will help you get a better deeper quality sleep which will great for mood too. the medical medium, if you sign up for the newsletter when you go to his website, does these "Light Blast" healing sessions for free once in a while, i did one recently it was AH-MAZ-ING, and he said he'll try to do another one in about a month, sign up if you want so you'll know when K

ashley have you thought of volunteering? a spiritual mentor i had when i used to get extra depressed said it can really help get out of one's own sphere under the dark cloud

Hey Ashley, where you are is I’m at every day… you get through the other end of where you are now. You shouldn’t feel shame, depression is hard and overwhelming. It starts out of nowhere and before you’re deep inside of it. I had days of depression that took me to a dark place and I posted my depression state on Facebook and my friends told me that they were there for me. Your depression is hard just like another person who has depression. You need always to cope, and breathe and we are here for you. You are loved. It takes one of feeling better moment and you can dig yourself out of your current situation. ✌👍😉

i'm not sure i agree it is a disease. my worst days of depression were in the years after my mom died, we were kind of symbiotic and i was in transition. i'm older now, when we age we become less marinated in our emotional sides, we start to be in a bigger-picture-focus. i the most important antidote i discovered for depression is gratitude-awareness. when i would have a downspiral it wouldn't go as low now. of course if you are under that dark cloud, you don't easily have access to remembering about all of the incredible blessings in your life, so consumed by self-judgement, self-blame, etc. it's so helpful to write a gratitude jounral every day. it will be incredibly long. you include everything: "i have nice hair, i don't have bald spots or have alopecia ariata; i have the ability to breathe without an oxygen tank; i have two legs and can walk without a cane, i don't need to be in a wheelchair; i have people in my life that care and not everyone does; i have a roof over my head; i have healthy eyes am not blind; i have a roof over my head; i have a comfortable bed to sleep in, am not sleeping on a sidewalk somewhere; i have a computer that lets me watch bts content whenever i want, some people don't have a laptop; i have a car some people can't afford a car; i live in America where there is clean running water and i can speak without fear of going to jail like in North Korea; i have a sound mind; i had parents that taught me right from wrong and some kids didn't and ended up sociopaths and are in jail; i don't have early alzheimers; i have healthy hearing and some people can not enjoy music such as our BTS;

pt 2 it can go on and on i can swallow food with ease i don't have anything going on with my esophagus; i have access to a shower where i can take a shower every day not everyone does; i have food in my refrigerator; i have a cell phone and it is not lost; i don't have bedbugs after all those bedbug scares; i have nice teeth and smile some people are ashamed to smile; i don't have major tooth pain; i have health insurance; i have a couple people i can talk to about my concerns; i have a love for animals; i was able to travel in my life some people have never left the country; i look young for my age; i had wondered if i had a stroke that day and it turned out not to be anything; i can walk without a limp; i am pain free when i walk and used to have knee pain; i can run easily so i don't feel vulnerable when i walk around especially at night; my sisters are alive and healthy; my niece and nephew are healthy; i have a talent for music; i have a talent for acting; i have writing skills; i am living in an area that allows me to walk for groceries and the gym; etc etc etc etc etc

i really hope nothing i said made you feel bad in any way? i know from experience that inner voice can be so critical and make oneself feel bad for everything. i learned about gratitude awareness from a very special spiritual mentor. she counseled thousands around the world for free over the telephone, and she said it helped thousands, the affirmation is : "I AM WELL, HAPPY AND AT PEACE WITHIN" just repeat it and you will feel better. also, words are powerful, and even during your therapy sessions, it's important to choose words carefully. for example, it's better to put things in the past tense, instead of present tense. anything after the phrase "I am _________________" is underscored and given energy by the words we affirm. so for example, if you HAVE to talk about something, you can refer to "when I WAS feeling this way" and also never CLAIM something (if you name something you claim it) for example, never say "MY depression" take care of yourself, you keep that oxygen mask on yourself, why are you feeling so responsible for being "anything" for the guys? or any of your subscribers? last, after you have reached out and expressed yourself, and those who care about you likely have received your message and update, i don't know,.... i personally might think it better to delete this video in that, eg, if i were a celebrity i would NEVER tell the public if there was a health issue going on bc of what's known as "the observer effect." there have apparently been experiments with plants that show that things shift based on what was believed about them by observers. two groups were told something different about the plants, and the plants shifted based on what was believed about them by the observors. if this is true, then my seeing you as depressed is actually unfortunately having an effect on you :(((( maybe even by revisiting your page, i actually gave energy to this so i am catching myself, i will try to forget the idea of thinking of you needing help with your mood, and needing your mood elevated, i will hold space and the idea of you JOYFUL and CELEBRATING YOUR LIFE/EXIStENCE and enjoying every moment as you so deserve💜💜
