Drug addiction , suicidal behavioral , and now these officers have to take these memories home 🏡 with them the rest of their lives ..... So you think you might want to be a policeman 👮♀️ gals and guys ........
Mental illness should be more of an issue. You would think the sheriff's would have the deputy's checked more often. I feel bad for this dude who just wanted to growl and dance at night with a stick.
Really? You guys still spouting this “shoot him in the legs” nonsense? Trying to shoot a narrow limb that is moving around erratically with a pistol is horribly ineffective with a low chance of actually hitting. Center-mass shots have a much higher chance of hitting and incapacitating a subject. Also, a solid limb hit (not graze-type), if it hits, will have a much higher chance of hitting a major artery that goes through that limb.
@@admiral_franz_von_hipper5436 I juat can't see them having that much trouble with a dude whose smaller than the rail road spike he was waving around that's all.
When a weapon is drawn, there MUST BE A TARGET... Even well trained Police might not hit their target.... Also, suspect could still be DANGEROUS if not neutralized. Limbs are NOT THE TARGET PLEASE take a weapon's class, you will understand
If you think you can perform the job with a more favorable outcome to ignorant people like yourself, please feel free to apply to become a police officer. Only then will you be worthy of having an opinion.
If you look at the body cam part of this video, it looks like the taser was deployed. It looks like they even used two tasers. It was ineffective. They even tried to shoot him with a web type net thingy and that wasn't effective either. At a certain point they were unable to retreat further and he was coming towards them after multiple less lethal attempts to stop him were made
The only thing worse than drug addiction are beliefs. Most of you on here are addicted to your beliefs. Ponder that a minute... Correct answers need not reply.
I get he was a threat and the taser and bola didnt work but did they really need to unload on him? Like, why is it always standard police protocol to mag dump whenever anyone is any bit of a threat? Leg shots, shoulder shots, baton, rubber bullets, theyre all viable options when other dont work.
I mean, those things arnt that sharp really. Dude could have been took down easy. Taser, a couple men etc. I personally wouldnt shot him on this one at least. I grew up by a railroad. Fought kids that grabbed these thing. They arent effective.
@@drm2364 Apologies - wasn't clear. We need a new Sheriff because this one is so self-centered. I could add examples if you are interested. Didn't criticize the Deputies.
@@SniffaThumb He leads from the front in a department where people seem to being doing their jobs appropriately. I disagree that he showboats. Sheriffs are elected and need to engage the public. Police chiefs, mostly hired by city administrators or commissions are unelected drones. They can afford to stay behind the scenes and not make waves for their one to seven bosses and lose their cushy pensions. A Sheriff needs the votes of the county electorate, so wallflowers need not apply.
@@scott21113 Why is he in the front, Scott? He's there (IMHO) to get his picture plastered on anything to sell his brand and keep him in office. An almost 180 from Sheriff Gee who had the best training and retention for Officers, his subsequent public exposure was all it needed to be. Have you seen the inoperative solar powered signs that say slow-down, the yard waste - stick in the ground "slow down" signs with his picture on 60% of the sign. He's all about himself. Take Grady Judd as a stark comparison of Pretty Boy Chad. Judd is upfront, supportive and gets the job done. Chad is a manipulator - all about himself. He will be voted out!
