I'm super new to knitting too and I tie my cables the same way hehe~ I don't have any cable stoppers yet so that's what'll do. eventually I think I'd like to get my hands on an interchangeable cable set or circulars just so I'm ready for lots of different types of projects 😁

A cable needle is usually a short double pointed needle, enough to hold and work the stitches of a cable. You can also just use any double pointed needle (dpn) for a cable, or even a circular needle, though circulars are usually much longer than needed for cables. Enjoy your new chunky hooks 😃 I look forward to seeing what you make with them.

Nice haul. I recently bought a few Addi circular needles from Wool Warehouse. I also keep them in their individual bags but I noticed that the size is printed on the cable, not on the needle. Maybe Deramores does the same? Love your hat, too! (I haven't use Deramores yarn ... yet.)

The deramores 50g ball is a bit on the thicker side and I use a 4.5 mm needle instead of 4mm. Their deals are fantastic and I've just ordered some more at 50% off. I knit for babies and it is so soft

Cable needle...a type of short needle physically make cables in knitting...circular needles knitting needles physically attached to a cable 😉Hope this makes sense

Circurlar needles = needles plus wirey cable Cable needles = short double ended needles with a bend in it to hold cable patterns in the knitting Welcome to the knit world too

shade cards are so handy theres nothing worse than it turning up and being a totally different colour.. but 3.99?!?! i know marriner yarns add one for free in most of their orders!!

Yeah I thought it was a bit on the pricey side too especially because the yarn is such good value!! I had a coupon that was gonna expire soon so thought it was a good time to order it ahahah ☺️
