Derby cover and primary fluid change 2020 Street Bob FXBB 

I just did my 1000 mile service. I may have over filled the oil and under filled the primary case. No biggie because I haven’t taken it out for a ride yet. I ended up using the full 4 qts but also filled my filter with a spare 5th qt. And then used he remainder on the engine. So in total I have almost 5 qts. I say almost because I did spill some. So I think I’ll check it tomorrow cold and just drain some out. Then for my primary case I only bought 1 qt. Which is 32oz and never got a replacement seal. I do think the one that’s there is honestly in good shape. But I’ll pickup another qt and the seal tomorrow. The transmission is the only thing I did correctly. Hey … beats paying $500. And you learn while you’re at it.

Get a front wheel chock. Get them off eBay for about $40 holds the bike rigid and upright.

I changed mine, and didnt follow the star pattrr to tighten and woke up with a small leak... i fixed it now, do you think its ok or should i add more fluid?

I need to just change the derby cover. I also got mine from Etsy. Do I need extra hardware to install the new one?

I’m not sure what may be different. I also have a 2020 street bob, my derby cover seems to measure 6 1/8” on the outside and that gasket part number doesn’t seem to be correct. I ordered the 17369-06 red color and it is huge, way too big. The factory black gasket is significantly smaller. Are you sure your part number is correct? I’m thinking that black gasket is a different part number

just bought the 2020 softail standard, basically a stripped down version of your bike, looking for and cant find 107 derby cover with 107 on it, any ideas where i could get one
