One of the best interviews yet. McInnes made it easy for you lads. He seemed to have a script in his head, didn’t need to be brought back to the timeline, he controlled the conversation. Clever and funny, composed and articulate but more importantly, likeable. Can see him getting a chance down south in the prem one day.

Lucky to have him at killie! Changed us around in a short space of time. Some decent signings and with his know how, we won the league! Looking forward to see what he can do with us in the premier league , already has the love of the support🟦⬜️🟨

One of the best interviews you've done Si, had it in my head Del was a bawbag before watching it but he's a top man.

First time I realised what a good manager he had was Motherwell away in the cup run. Down to 10 men, his tactics that night were superb. That and the semi against at St Johnstone at Tynecastle. Great times

One of my favourite ever players. Love the underdog, moving from Greenock to play champions league with Rangers for a couple of hundred thousand. Then going on to play in the Premiership. Love the story.

I’ve never criticised a manager of my team, and there’s good reason why I’ve never criticised Derek’s tenure. He made the club aware that he wouldn’t stand for draconian training facilities with the first few weeks, pushed the club to build a proper modern training ground, and obviously brought home a trophy. But more importantly, he stabilised the club and brought a sense of pride back to the North East. I, for one, will forever be grateful to him and Doc for doing that. Yes, maybe the time had come for fresh ideas. I think he’d probably be big enough to agree himself about that, but from my personal point of view, I wish him nothing but the best. I think we were lucky to have him and his team for the time they were here. By the way, the ‘Kid’ did a better interview!!

As these podcasts go, This has to be one of the best. Not his biggest fan from his Aberdeen days. They way he went about things being an ex Rangers man didn't sit right but this was brilliant.

Alas, I left Scotland a long time ago, still, outside of Scotia this video is almost useless... Pity, because Bristol City gets a mention. Derek is pretty broad, but understandable, he trots out his after dinner speach, with add-ons to good effect...
