@@nerdhockey2994 I wouldn't say players, it's where all the washed up goons and enforcers go because they don't want to work the drive thru at McDonald's
Doesn’t matter, it’s how you behave on the ice that hockey players will judge you off of it. You can be as nice as you want off the ice, if you aren’t the same person on the ice; then you’re fake. I’d rather be an honest ass hole than a fake “nice guy”, who is actually a loser!
People seem to not know what this is, this is the LNAH in Quebec, it's basically a fight club. The fans go to games for one reason and one reason only, to watch players hurt each other.
@@r.edward5701 Should play hockey and not worry about just trying to hurt people, guy has scored 4 goals 9 assist in his past 11 seasons but has 1700 penalty minutes. Absolute loser head hunting in a glorified beer league.
@@r.edward5701 Parker should have played hockey instead of trying to murder someone. Bordeleau probably didn’t want to risk a brain injury, with Parker brain is apparently not an issue.
@@MrPashtet1984 If they're Frenchman, there would be lots of stick swinging, sticks up around your face. Yah, played against Quebec teams, eye gouging, throat sticking, spleen spearing yahoos all. Couldn't play the game worth a damn!
Unreal cheap-shot. Curious when this game was. Bordeleau seems to not have played this current season. What we see here is a potential career-ending cheap shot. Should be criminal.
I couldn't agree more. Anyone defending this cheap shot needs a reality check. The opposing player went in with intent to injure and at that point should be criminally charged.
Scrimmaged w/Bordeleau and some others, right before they started their official camp/captains practice, when he was with the Avalanche in 2013. They'd ping some of us decent beer-leaguers to round out a couple teams for a daily lunch-hour skate (non-contact, fast but casual) after they were in the gym. I needed an official practice jersey, so he gave me his black/dark practice jersey (w/a tie-down in it. Ha!). I'm '6''3. They jersey, which I kept, fits me like a dress..literally reaches my knees. Jesus.
Rematch between the two players Oct 20th 2023 ended with a fight between both players. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XXFgvTmwO9s.htmlsi=4PKAbeMB8D8Hvy8V
I don't know what bothers me more, the blindside hit, or the fans loving the fact that a player was hit so hard "sucker hit" that he is flat out on the ice? Why wouldn't the players play dirty it's what the fans want, and fills seats. Hockey allows it. I used to get really pissed when everyone would say it's part of the game. Now I see they are right it's allowed, and cheered. Owners don't give out harsh fines or suspensions because the more fights the more the tickets get sold. They are not going to pay millions for a player who isn't out on the ice
Fans are worse. But hey, it's small town Quebec and Frenchies love this $hit. Before any of you frenchies get on me, I'm married to one and I know the culture...don't pretend you don't love slinging beers and watching this with your boys...
Yea I guess your right. I just hate to see players get leveled by their blindside and get hurt, then fans cheer not because it was a good play, but because it was viscous.@@johnnymonkeyballs3437
Hockey, like the UFC, is becoming infected with WWE disease. You won't believe what's on the horizons for most sports. Personally, I don't know, But it's bound to be a doozy! - Faux News
Canada is crazy. There’s more people in attendance for this beer league game than some AHL games in the states 😂 that was a charging/interference/roughing penalty wrapped into one.
Watch the video again. The fans start throwing shit at everyone. So they all stood around him to try to protect him. But there is a young lady (or looks like it) that ran over and was talking to him (the trainer). Plus the guys hand you can see at the top of the screen is waving a ton for them to get him big time help (hospital type help).
Can someone explain the hockey rules of physicality to me? What is and isn’t allowed? I understand high sticking. I’ve heard the phrase “cross checking.” I get that this is a cheap shot because the guy doesn’t have the puck is that what makes it illegal? He squared him up and hit him from the front, so I’m assuming that would be clean except for the fact that the guy didn’t have the puck?
This is what I would call a late hit. Bordeleau (white) had deflected the puck in the offensive zone), so he had it for a brief moment. Players also have to brace themselves up to a second after they got rid of the puck. There was a window of opportunity for maybe 1-2 seconds to throw a hit for Parker (red). But he took way more than that.
Hockey is really hard to call, but if you'd like to think of it as, contact is legal if your hit is being productive to the play. The point of contact in hockey is to separate man from puck, the further away your hit strays from that criteria the closer you are to taking a penalty. The refs have a hard job sometimes cause there is so much grey area in hockey. would be easier if all they had to call was tripping.
This is what you call skating as hard as you can at someone and slamming into them without them seeing you AKA trying to seriously injure someone AKA dirty AF
@@fcmhockeyvideos I was good with the ladies once, over 30 years ago, that doesn't make me good with the ladies now, hell I can't even please my wife now! Maybe some of these guys were good three decades ago, but now, not so much......So what league is it, some over 50 beer league?
@@bostondangler134 I don't like people throwing shit at the players in this league putting their health on the line for my entertainment. This is serious.
Eh... puck no where near the player, 5 full strides into the player, blindside... you snap your neck, smash your head into the ice.... So many bad things could happen. 5 minute major, game misconduct, and probably a 5-10 game suspension (depends on the league) would seem about right to me. About the ONLY thing he didn't do was hit his head, but the head hitting the ice took care of that type of impact.
@@EtchAGetch The puck was no where near but Bordeleau did have the puck and redirected it in the offensive zone. So it becomes a late hit and a charging. Automatic 1 game suspension has been handed out.
The most brutal league in the world where former nhl enforcers go for a cheque. Some young guys make it to college or the nhl through this league also but it’s brutal.
I'm not a bloodthirsty fan or anything. But we need to bring back the check and balance the system in the sport. Could care less what level this is. It's a sport wide issue
In this particular Quebec-based league (LNAH), hockey is only played occasionally and on-ice brawls are actually the main reason for the league's existence. Not worth the price of admission even if they were giving away tickets for free.
They should fine that dude $5k. No wait...that would be his entire salary. Joke of a league but I guess the 200 fans in attendance really like it sooooo
