I used to think sunglasses were just for vanity, but your video gave me an 'aha' moment! I had no idea they prevent eye diseases and protect the skin around the eyes. Thanks for sharing this important info!
I have oily skin, have been using tret for almost two months now and particularly hoping it helps with the smile lines around the mouth and my crows feet. I use a small pea-size amount of tret, everywhere on my face with no issues but for some people it causes dryness around eyes, corners of nose and sides of mouth.
I use Beauty of josean retinol eye cream. Is very good not irritating. I use it at night only. Or La Roche posey Cicaplast Gel B5 is also good around the eye.
I never put the cicaplast on my eye lid only under my eye arround that bone. Maybe you went a little bit to close. It shouldn’t creep up. But every ones skin is diffrent.
Thanks for mentioning sunglasses. People don't seem to know about the potential later in life for cataracts and they don't seem to consider that eye color can lighten as we get older. What are you favorite matte/j-beauty sunscreens?
Exactly!! For j beauty sunscreens: I like Canmake mermaid, Shiseido Anessa, and rohto hada Labo. I don’t care for the biore uv watery essence like everyone else
I don't mind the crow's feet/smile lines. I think they add character. Can you give any suggestions or a video on lines around the lips like you see on smokers. I am a non smoker but now in my late 50s, I'm getting these frustrating lines and have very dry skin. Thanks Dr. Sugai and ❤ your videos!
@@kimshan3101 I smile upside down as well. I have been using argilerine in this area (just put a few drops in those lines right after washing the face) and they got just a tad smaller. But there is only this much argilerine can do.
I love your channel. It is always very informative and easy to understand. I wonder if you could help with lines around the mouth? Are there any creams or massages that would help? Fillers are not an option for me, but I do use retinol daily. Thank you.....Peace 😊
I wear contacts for 20 years and live in Colorado for 10. I had dry eyes way before I started using retinol. Now I've been using it around my eyes for about 2 years and nothing changed. They still get dry closer to the evening or when I sit close by a fast blowing fan. They did not get more dry for sure.
I'm 39 - built - have a young wife, do jiu jitsu, hunt / fish etc. I have crows feet and just started BroTox without shame. If you're here as a total Bro, FKN DO IT!
Great in depth info. Recently had a MOS on the bridge of my nose and am using Fluorouracil on the rest of my nose. Would love to see a segment on BCC and how to spot it before it makes itself known (bleeding) as mine did.
Can I use this hyaluronic serum in the morning when my cleanser and toner has Salicylic and Niacinamide in it? I normally put those and end with an SPF + Moisturizer since I am putting retinol at night. I just want to include Hyaluronic serum in the morning to address crow's feet. Is it recommended both day and night? Thanks!
Pls give tips for marionette lines, spf for sensitive, irritated skin and skin that has gone from oily to dry/sandpaper - like d/t menopause. Cream cleansers break me out. Also cant use Botox d/t thyroid issues. Thx
I used Versed retinol eye balm with good results. Not sure exactly what it is called, but feels like a balm. Comes in tiny light green jar. Anyone else use it?
Hi dr Daniel, wow fantastic vlog always love seeing your videos. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and insights on this topic xx can’t wait for your next vlog xx
Retinol use eye dryness happened to me. Had four chalazions over the course of a year due to Meibomian gland damage after using retinol (Olay 24) on face. Scientific literature will catch up, give it time. This is why it’s being regulated over the counter in Europe
You are so awesome. I just love your videos. You are so helpful and I am so grateful to you. You're also so fun to listen to seem like such a nice guy. I definitely would want to go to you if I was in this seattle area
I should do a video on this! The evidence behind the technology is impressive but each brand does not disclose their fluence dosing so hard to know if the at home devices are truly at therapeutic doses of light.
I think what the “creators” are getting wrong is Dr. Andrew Huberman (Stanford neuroscientist) discussion on UV light being crucial for suprachiasmatic nucleus activation and modulating our sleep wake cycle, mood and more. Definitely some strong literature on this.
If the patients complaining of dry eyes are middle aged women, it could be menopause. Low testosterone (which drops in menopause) can cause dry eyes. It’s a very common symptom.
Doctor in one of your videos which I'm trying to research, you did say to use a retinol oil with cream and I think it was L'Oreal.Could you please repeat that advice. I see serums on but, no oil. I might have misunderstood what you said.Thank you
Orinary has retinol in squalane oil. This is what used to start off with retinols. I picked the smallest percentage and applied a few drops over my face cream every few nights to get used to it.
Hi Dr Sugai Can you please do a video about eyelash loss especially for older woman. There is Lattisse and City Beauty has one with Castor Oil. I watched lots of videos/shorts and I mostly found younger woman using products and having success. 👀🗯 *Please Help Woman 0ver 50 yrs old* Thanking you in advance, ❤❤❤love from New York City~♡
