Dr. Liu, I’ve watched several of your videos. In fact, I found myself watching for several days and weeks in a row. I realized, I enjoy not only your take on products I was interested in, including those I already have by my bathroom sink as well as those I’ve been contemplating on purchasing. Your videos have given me a better understanding of why I enjoy products I bought on a whim but have been using for years just based off how it makes my skin feel. I’ve been perusing through youtube on dermatologists and facialists channels and found your channel to be my favorite - very straightforward, easily digestible information in my personal opinion. I just subscribed as you lit a hunger for learning in me and it gives me peace of mind to be in my mid 40’s having a better understanding what most suitable ingredients I put on my skin type at this stage in my life and what time of the day each product is best applied on the skin for safety and effectivity. I see the Vichy line at CVS but as you said, we don’t hear that much about it compared to La Roche Posay and Avene. Thanks for shining a light on another great French brand.
I just bought their 60 fps tinted mineral sunscreen. my sensitive skin didn't react to it and the look on my skin is really better than my Aveeno mineral sunscreen which turns me into a ghost. Also, I don't feel it on my skin like Aveeno, and I forget that I have sunscreen on, which is a big step up from my previous sunscreen. I live in Canada and have not found many dermatologist recommendations for mineral sunscreens available in Canada. It's nice to hear that Vicky is a trusted brand for skin products. I'll definitely check that pimple product!

The best thing i have tried from Vichy is a hair product actually called Dervos Aminexil ampoules … its amazing for hair fall … the bet i ever tried not even comparable to any oil or rosemary promises to stop hair fall
i was suffering from dandruff since a was young i tried everythings nothing working from the first week except Anti-dandruff vichy the green in color Dercos its just a black magic i couldnt believe till now that my hair is dandruff free i being use it like 6 years i ll never change it😅the best of the best 😊
I love that vit c serum from Vichy. From all of the c vit I tried, this one felt like the only one which worked. I personally loved that it came in a smaller 15 ml as well as it is possible to use it relatively very fast. Now I saw the same serum is packaged in a bigger size with a pipette type which helps preserve the vit c better. Do you know that they’ve got a new retinol serum as well? I’m kind of intrigued to get them.
Would you say these products are effective for men as well? Let's say the Liftactiv Supreme? Are there any anti aging serum you would recommend for men skin?
Thank you so much for those informations, they are much needed as i do plan on starting to incorporate the retinol and vitamin c serums in my routine, I've been using their Aqualia thermal rehydrating creme light and i wanted to start using the rich version but i don't know if it's gonna clog my pores because i have a somewhat oily acne prone skin.
I discovered Vichy in Paris years ago, its fabulous! Can you show your routine with these products? Payot had a great sulfur product I used 45 years ago, when their line was sold at Saks, Bullocks Wilshire, sadly it phased out or changed. The product was called pate grise and it contained sulfur, it has different ingredients now
I use the 89 serum for a while 2 or 3 bottles and than I try different products, I will go buy again that product because of your video! I also used the vitamine c serum but the first version of it ! Now I will try it again! But Vichy has a new serum the Neovadiol ! I will like to know about it! Also when to use it? The 89, the Vitamine C, the Neovadiol, I get confuse with the order of the layering of each cream, serums, retinol????😮 Thank you in advance!
I’m just watching this now, but I would love to know what you think of the new mineral 89 cream! They have a fragrance free, and a rich that does have fragrance. I am very excited to try these out. The new prebiotic is my favorite also along with the regular mineral 89 serum and the fragrance free Aqualita cream. I do enjoy the gel cleanser and the Normaderm especially; it’s just enough salicylic acid to do the job without over, drying and irritating.
from a user's perspective who does not have a clue about dermatology: I love love love the fragrance free cream! it eliminated my need to use a serum despite using effaclar k+ by la roche as a spot treatment

I just finished my first bottle of Vichy's Vitamin C. I really loved the texture of it, wasn't sticky at all.I did have a concern about it though. When I bought it it was already orange in color. I heard that Vitamin when orange means it's oxidized already and no longer useful. Do you know if that is only special to Vichy or did I get a bad batch?
I think that is just the colour of their vitamin C, if you look at the product photos on their website, the vitamin C is that orange colour, I would say if it goes a darker orange almost like a orange-brown then it's oxidized.

Hello Dr.Jenny☀️🤗 recently I was gifted avene thermal spring water, and was wondering if I could use it, if I use active ingredients like; adapalene, benzoyl peroxide and azelaic acid. is it ok so spray my face with thermal water, follow up with moisturizer and then go with active ingredients?
Always best to talk with with your doctor, there’s limited studies on topical TA, it is something used during pregnancy to start with bleeding, and usually with serums it’s limited to application on face
Hello Dr.Jenny☀️ will switching from one adapalene brand (differin) to another adapalene brand ( la rouch posay) cause any negative side effects like purging, irritation ? I been using adapalene (differin) for a year now and I love it, how ever I might be moving to a place where they sell adapalene under a different brand name, but its still by galderma.
