“Are you even a millennial if you don’t pack something in a Lulu Lemon bag every day of your life” I’ve honestly used the bags more than some of the items I purchased.
We have very similar morning routines! I shower at night but I also prepare everything the night before. I’m a clinical microbiologist, and I’m always wearing different kinds of PPE depending on the organism I’m working with so minimal makeup + mascara is my go-to as well! Thanks for sharing!
I am shook that your whole routine takes 40 minutes?! I do way less than you on my weekday mornings and it takes me the same amount of time if not longer. Having to choose what clothes to wear is definitely one of the more time-consuming parts. Let's normalize wearing scrubs to work for all professions!
I just discovered your channel, and I really like your content. As someone who also preps my breakfast and work things the night before, all I can say is ‘great minds think alike’ 👍
Just want to thank you so much for your 2” curling iron recommendation. I couldn’t find the same brand but found one at Target for $60 that has literally changed my life. I have very thick long frizzy hair. And I have a hard time managing it. I tried it today and like you said it took me 5 mins!!! And my hair looks blown out!!! Thank you!!!
I’m a pediatrician and I love this video!!!! I am always recommending skin care products to mamas and babies so love to hear what you use!! Also, Congratulations on the little one on the way :)
Thank you for saying that you are not worried about organic filters! There us a lot of fear mongering around that ! And coming from a dermatologist, i think it's important 🤗🙏😍
I absolutely love your videos! I just ordered the Necessaire Serum & Lotion as I have such dry skin. Can’t wait to get them and try them after my showers. You are certainly a joy to watch..... Congratulations on your pregnancy, very exciting time!
I literally do the same makeup and even use the same real techniques brushes. For mascara I also have a drugstore cheaper one and it works wonders. I am also a doctor to be, so I guess that makeup just works for our daily lifestyle in clinic. I love you, you are so beautiful and calming, such an inspiration ❤
So so happy I found your channel! Thank you for all the clear info and for providing some guidance around hype products and treatments. Would absolutely love to hear more about the likes of spider veins and how to prevent and/or treat them!
Wait, does Figs have maternity scrubs? Get yourself a pair or two- you’re worth it! I’ve also seen Kohls have cute little empire-waist tops. I’ve also seen nurses I work with use WonderWink that has tops that they can adjust a front panel with their growing belly. Hope you find something that fits your needs and feels comfy 💕
Loved watching this routine during my routine this morning! (Also congrats!) I know you said you don’t wash your face in the morning, only rinse. Does this change if you’ve worked out and got nice and sweaty before your routine? Or would you still only rinse after workout in the morning?
Hi Dr Sam Ellis! I was wondering what your thoughts were on the retinyl palmitate that's in the nars soft matte complete concealer? Would you consider this ingredient safe to use during pregnancy if you only use a small amount?
I am very interested in a 2” curling iron now, it can grab a lot of hair. Oh! and that head band Thank you for sharing your morning routine, I def. Enjoyed the video 🧡
Ohh my goodness, I have never had children but I do have unsightly spider/vericose veins on my legs- I never realized compression socks can help. What is the best treatment to get rid of them? Thank you for the awesome advice you share! Wish I was closer to your office.
Re: Scrubs… keep an eye out for Dr Kristina Bradley’s channel ; she’s coming out w a line of scrubs soon & since she has a newborn I’m thinking she will have maternity. 🎉👍🏻
Would you please share the shade you are using in the Anastasia tinted brow gel? I am interested in trying it out and think your shade would be a match for me, as well.♥️
Hello Dr u look amazing u definitely will have a baby boy u can tell the glow u have on your face And remember me if u decide to find out what u having remember me Anyways where did u order tour compressing sucks
This was very helpful. I was just put on azelaic acid during my pregnancy and have been trying to put my vitamin c over it and it wasnt working nicely. Will switch the order!
I loved the NARS concealer for years. It's so nice and workable. Have you gotten a chance to try the Clé de Peau Concealer in the little lipstick lookin tube yet? They have spf 25 in them already, and they are EVERYTHING! You’re such a graceful beauty. BTW
Hi Dr Sam love your videos! And congrats on the pregnancy!!! Apart from Adelaide acid, how else do you plan on using to keep your rosacea under control? Or what can rosacea sufferers use to keep their rosacea under control during pregnancy? Xxxxxx
Oh 6:30 am, gotta love that wake up time )) I just can't make myself shower in the morning ahahhah. But my wake up call is my Luna 3 facial brush, those pulsations are magic!
Ooh, please do a short on the Naked Sundays sunscreen so we can see the tint a bit more clearly! Maybe swatch it next to some other tinted sunscreens like you’ve done before? Would appreciate it so much
@@DrSamEllis Naked Sundays sent me a sample and I tried it- OMG! It works! This is only the 3rd tinted sunscreen I’ve ever tried that doesn’t turn me orange. Hallelujah!
What time do you start work? I barely have time to open my eyes before I have to leave for work! I wish I could be so relaxed and do all that before work, wow.
I haven’t used body lotion in years. And I see no difference in my skin than when I slathered myself with it day and night. I have normal skin, and the only thing I stopped doing was using harsh body cleansers, and of course no more tanning. Just no need for body lotion. I was surprised to see you can use that prescription azalaic (sp?) acid in the AM, I wonder I would benefit from that….I use Tretinoin at night, and it seems to have taken care of most of my skin issues. I’ve looked at the Vit C serum you use at Blue Mercury, I just can’t justify the price…thinking of adding Vit C to my AM routine, though. Sunscreen is my biggest headache. I love EltaMd tinted SPF 41, but I get bored using the same thing all the time. I want a light weight tinted one, that I can use a little foundation over when I want. Fig scrubs are awesome!! Pricey, but worth it. One of my coworkers is designing her own line of scrubs, and using (so she says) the same fabric that Figs are made from. She wore a sample pair to work last week, and they look great, can’t wait until she has enough made for me to buy them.
Also wanted to ask what you recommend for aging body skin. I have taken care of my face, but my body is really showing signs of age (I'm 54). Is there a wash/scrub/serum/lotion you recommend to help with sun damage and skin laxity on the body? (I am super dry).
Where I work "Dr. Ellis" is vascular and works with another doctor who told us while prego we (my very prego coworker and very prego self) need to wear thigh high to prevent varicose veins and we were like 8 mons prego and Loling trying to imagine how on Earth we could even try to put them on.
Hello Dr. I just started watching your videos, and this one caught my attention ... I would also like to know if you can share the brand of the hair waving iron ir link access, since my hair is long and I have problems with the smaller ones. Thank you
🤍🤍🤍 i have completely similar routine the shower and as well it helpes me a lot to prepare everything night before. Btw youre so beautiful natural beauty.
I am re-watching Poldark (love that series) ...and it suddenly dawned upon me who you have been reminding me of all this time...beautiful Elizabeth! Any Poldark fans here who see it too?🙂
