I noticed in the instructions that they recommend to switch the deadbolt to the bottom hole of the door in case the smart lock hits the upper deadbolt. Just a thing to keep in mind before giving up on the smart lock hehe.
You can lock/unlock with the physical key that is included. No app required. Also yes you can put a lock/unlock schedule on the door. For example, unlock at 8am and lock at 5pm.
I noticed you have it on auto lock. If you take it off auto lock how do you lock the door without the phone app. For example if I have code to a renter they can get in but how do they lock door.
same old fashion Simplex is the company that is trusted. My Question is without touching can you walk up to the door and open just with the phone app on>?
@@OhioFred I just think that for anybody that buys this should just keep the key with them on their car keys. Why have the burglar have a advantage by just finding the key? Doesn’t make sense too me
I can still get in my back door if there’s a problem with the Sifely on the front door with the key I had for both the front and back doors. A burglar would need the key to open the lock, no they can’t just open the door by finding the key slot and it take a special dimple key that come with the lock to unlock the door. I use lithium batteries in my Sifely.
