First, this is the first time that I was on Penn's side because this rewriting of history for that Kawhi Toronto run by Ron/Swipa is crazy, and Marz, I agree. People weren't saying this then. Here's another thing: the Raptors only won the championship because KD and Klay got hurt. Also, yes, Marc was the better defender because that's the reason-well, part of the reason-they got past Giannis and the Bucks. It was due to Marc and the rest of the wall that Kawhi couldn't do anything against Giannis.

2019 was the toughest east in 2010s IMO maybe 13/14 and kawhi pushed them thru it, the raptors were not taking serious cuz there supposed to be best player was ass in the playoffs, they in 18 even if they don’t get mopped by Cleveland they lose to Boston, Toronto was never a contender outside of 19 in my eyes

Just to make it clear. IT WAS CUT AND DRY THAT LUKA WAS GENERATIONAL. Luka was the best player in the second best league in the world in his mid teens! he passed the eye test and he played the best in important games, winning MVPs...nobody watched him and thought otherwise besides people with an American bias. IT would be like watching Lebron and thinking, he is good now, but maybe he wont be that good later. No! It was that obvious. He was levels above Cooper Flagg, for example. He was just that good. Mars gets it because he doesn't have the Gilbert Arenas eyes

I'm one of those that think Luka should be number 1 at that time but Marz and Penn act like Ayton and Bagley wasn't a logical top pick at that time as well. Penn is acting like he never missed on a draft. Lol. Drafting in the lottery is not always that easy. If anything, it's more misses than hits.

Luka was very clearly the only generational player in that draft (and i loved mpj and bagley they were my 2 and 3) and i guess im speaking passionately cos i was right ab it in hindsight. theres been players i been wrong ab too ofcourse but when i viewed someone as generational and had them number 1 and they live up to it best believe ima be sayin everyone who didnt see it either didnt watch or was stupid
